Players are incensed by Activision's CoD: Mobile Attachment Paywall.

Undoubtedly, Call of Duty: Mobile fulfils player expectations for the most part. However, things recently took a turn for the worst when a number of Reddit users discovered a CoD: Mobile attachment paywall. Needless to say, many gamers are not thrilled with this new development.

Call of Duty: Attachment Paywall for Mobile is somewhat surprising because, historically, the content has been free to access and locked through gameplay. However, a quick glance at a Reddit thread started by Agent_Lord987 reveals that the new attachment for the ASM10, a barrel dubbed Branson, is locked behind a paywall. One user, Level_Counter_1672, has expressed disapproval of this action, saying that "they [Activision] are behaving like EA," a company that many criticise for its aggressive use of microtransactions.

It's important to remember, too, that while you can't now access this new attachment without paying for it, the tasks to do so will release the following week. You may thus choose a different route to get the in-game item, but some gamers worry that this marks the start of a new trend in COD: Mobile that may eventually result in more instances similar to this.

What is the reason for the paywall for the CoD: Mobile attachment?

We are unable to tell for sure. Activision may have made this decision or it may have just been a mistake. However, when the objectives related to the Branson are added to the game, you may still get it for free.

I believe that the updated ASM10 attachment is now a pay walled item! originated from CallOfDutyMobile
