Skyrim

  • Nintendo Switch

Yes, this is how we're going to start it. Don't give me that kind of look. You could tell as soon as you saw the headline that Skyrim would be included. A great option if you're looking for a game that feels like The Witcher is Bethesda's fantasy role-playing game. Breath of the Wild: The Legend of Zelda

  • Nintendo Switch
Play Breath of the Wild if you like stunning scenery, an expansive universe, and repeatedly rescue the same princess (no, this isn't Mario). One of the finest Switch games is said to be Nintendo's title. Even though it was out in 2017, very few games can compare to its incredible quality. However, there's a good reason for this—the game is amazing for the most part. The plot is amazing as it always is, and the combat is enjoyable.Did you also know that The Witcher was influenced by Breath of the Wild? even if I came out two years later. How amazing is that? Since there are a lot of games in this series, we decided to focus on the best Zelda games so you may choose which to play first.

Dark Souls

  • Nintendo Switch
Dragons belong to the Witcher. What other game has dragons, do you know? Evil Souls. But while Dark Souls features a chosen undead that resembles beef jerky, The Witcher also has Geralt. Still, seeking a spouse is not the point of this. In this fantastical universe, everything aims to murder you. Both of these games have a ton of RPG elements and provide a formidable gaming challenge.Furthermore, while its beauty isn't as traditional, the planet of Lordran is just as breathtaking to explore as The Continent. Instead, you travel across regions devastated by time, bad choices, and the era of fire. But Anor Londo is breathtaking. Our list of the top games similar to Dark Souls is the place to be if you want grueling, painful, and masochistic experiences. Additionally, we provide a Dark Souls bosses guide to assist you in defeating the monsters that await you in Lordran.

Blades in The Elder Scrolls:

  • Android / iOS / Nintendo Switch
Imagine Skyrim on a mobile device. Though it lacks the complexity of its genre-defining best-selling big brother, The Elder Scrolls: Blades is still a fantastic mobile game worth checking out if you're looking for Witcher-like experiences on your phone (or Switch). Because it's movable, you can always count on it to be there, much like that lost dog of a buddy. You still care for them, however. In other words,

Rise of Monster Hunter

  • Nintendo Switch
What is the connection between Monster Hunter and The Witcher? Slaying, naturally, a myriad of monsters. But, Monster Hunter is a really special action role-playing game; in fact, it's safe to say that very few games can rival it in terms of gameplay and design. If you like The Witcher, you should definitely play Monster Hunter. You can hunt a wide variety of critters and make good use of a wide range of equipment, weapons, and ambient elements. The icing on the cake is that this game allows you to have a buddy that looks like a dog. Re-Reckoning in the Kingdoms of Amalur

  • Nintendo Switch
You need go no further than Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning if you're searching for another expansive fantasy setting. The Witcher 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur's storylines are quite distinct from one another, therefore it doesn't quite reach the same heights. Moreover, your character's personality is weak. Without a question, Geralt has more charm.Having saying that, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning offers an amazing degree of flexibility, and you are able to shape the plot by creating your own character. One might also argue that the choices you make in this game are more important than they were in Wild Hunt.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game

Does this resemble The Witcher 3? Not exactly, but The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Gwent card game serves as its only inspiration, and I can't believe you didn't get hooked to it and find yourself traveling the whole damned region in search of rare cards. As a result, it is included on this list.It is a perfect match for Gwent in Wild Hunt. One faction's worth of cards must be assembled into a deck. In the mobile game, there are hundreds of different cards to acquire and more sides to choose from. However, you may still use beloved characters like Yen, Geralt, Triss, Ciri, and more. If you're having fun with this deck builder, check out what else is available by visiting our list of the best mobile card games.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

It's often said, "Why settle for a burger when you can have a steak?" Now, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is my ideal steak—it's juicy and rare. When I'm having a rough day or just want to explore the countryside with my favorite horse, Roach, I always turn to this game. The one mare I have ever had faith in.So why, if you like role-playing games, is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt a must-play? To begin with, it has some of the most beautiful settings of any open-world game. The region from the Blood and Wine expansion, Toussaint, is excellent. It may possibly be the greatest DLC ever created. Indeed, I did say that, and I still do. You know what I truly like, though? The possibility that a gryphon may suddenly materialize while you're strolling down the street. There are many creatures in the Continent. There's always something to do for you.And there is Geralt himself, of course. He's among the greatest protagonists available, and it's a delight to follow his narrative. Oh, and let's not overlook Yennefer, Triss, and Ciri. Geralt's existence revolves on all three of them, and it's fun to see two beautiful sorceresses quarrel over him.I could go on and on about the plot, the fighting, and the RPG systems, but I believe you should play it and find out these things on your own. Here it is: the definitive and up-to-date list of video games that are similar to The Witcher 3. Go off now and defeat some terrifying creatures. Alternatively, for a different type of dread, see our selection of the top Resident Evil titles on the Nintendo Switch.
