Otterbox is one of the most reliable names in the smartphone case game, and the Defender Series Pro offers you some serious protection for your expensive flagship. While the design is basic and unassuming, it does exactly what you need it gives you peace of mind while not affecting any of the usability of your fancy phone.

There aren’t any significant downsides to the Parallax case, though it’s worth pointing out there aren’t a ton of exciting options to choose from in terms of design. Providing you don’t mind your phone case not exactly being a party piece, there’s little reasoning we can offer to avoid this one.

The Spigen Neo Hybrid is a well-built and durable case with a slim and sleek shape that doesn’t draw too much attention while also being incredibly easy on the eye. It stands out due to the thoughtfulness of its design: an unobtrusive build that doesn’t unnecessarily cover any of the buttons or make accessing any of the features difficult thanks to precise cutouts.

The case is also on the more affordable end of the spectrum, and for its low price tag, you get guaranteed protection with a casing made of sturdy materials, with extra grip on the sides to limit the chance of any accidents. What you don’t get is lots of color choices, but it’s already attractive as-is with its simplicity so that isn’t really a major drawback at all.

Despite being called the UltraColor, this case does have fewer color options than you might expect. But, really, is that a bad thing? Do you need to spend your time flicking between colors, or do you actually just need a case that’ll do its job without any fuss, where all the color choices are good choices? Like us, you’re probably in the second camp.

Great. We’re on the same page, which means that we can all agree that the Cyrill Ultracolor case is a brilliantly straightforward option. It’s inexpensive, has a really attractive (almost retro) design, and a nice grippy texture. It’s plenty rugged, too, and just in case you’re still worried about dropping it, it comes with a wrist loop that you can wear, so it’ll never be more than a few centimeters away from your hand. Whether that’s a pro or a con is up to you.

With a heavy-duty (and extremely attractive) design and Kevlar material reinforcement, your phone is protected from even the sharpest falls.

What takes the Urban Armor Gear UAG case to the next level is the fact that it makes those falls so unlikely with lanyard anchors and a special traction grip. You could scale the Dawn Wall in Yosemite with this in your pocket, and it’d be fine.

Admittedly, if you’re not into the rugged lifestyle, the Urban Armor Gear UAG case is probably a bit much, especially given that it’s not a cheap option. But even then, it looks so great and it’s so wonderfully protective that it’ll still do the job you want it to do – and extra.

If you’re looking for a cute case to match your Kawaii vibe, the DiyGody Kirby case is a great option. For a start, it’s got Kirby on it, and we love that little pink ball of love. It’s a solid case in its own right, though, with solid shockproofing, wireless charging capabilities, and a raised lip to offer your screen that extra bit of protection.

Unfortunately, this case is only available for the S24 base model, and not the S24+ or S24 Ultra.  It’s also worth noting that the product listing for this option doesn’t include any mention of anti-yellowing technology, which is a little concerning with a transparent case. Fortunately, it’s so cheap that you can probably justify picking up a replacement if the condition of the case starts to fade.
