Wurmple evolution guide

Greetings to all of you aspiring insect catchers! The steps of the Wurmple evolution are covered in today's lesson. This little red creature that resembles a caterpillar may evolve into two different Pokémon, each with a very different ultimate form. While it's easy to make them evolve, let's look for a way to get both of them into your Pokédex as soon as possible.

Here is our guide to Applin evolutions if you need assistance with any other Pokémon plans. and how to struggle against the following weaknesses: bug Pokémon weakness, poison Pokémon weakness, and electric Pokémon weakness.

What is the process of evolving Wurmple?

Let's explore the possibilities of evolving this tiny wormy man into every imaginable evolution. The following are the two potential evolutionary chains:

  • Wurmple – Cascoon – Dustox
  • Wurmple – Silcoon – Beautifly

Beginning at level seven, Wurmple develops into either Cascoon or Silcoon. At level 10, they re-evolve into either Dustox, a moth Pokémon, or Beautifly, a butterfly Pokémon.

The evolution of Cascoon and Silcoon isn't entirely random; rather, it depends on the traits that each Pokémon has buried inside. When growing a little Wurmple, it is virtually still up to the RNG gods whether you get Silcoon or Cascoon since you cannot observe this or check it in any way.

In every game, locate a Wurmple by grabbing your net and going to these locations:

  • Legends: Arceus -Obsidian Fieldlands: near Aspiration Hill, Floaro Gardens, Horseshoe Plains, The Heartwood, massive mass outbreaks
  • Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl – Routes 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 218, 221, 222, Eterna Forest, Floaroma Meadow, Fuego Ironworks, Grand Underground (Grassland Cave), Riverbank Cave, Still-Water Cavern, Sunlit Cavern, Valley Windworks (Honey Trees)

Alternatively, you may locate Silcoon and Cascoon at the following locations if you'd want to skip a step:

  • Silcoon:
    • Brilliant Diamond – Routes 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 218, 221, 222, Eterna Forest, Floaroma Meadow, Fuego Ironworks, Valley Windworks (Honey Trees)
Grand Underground (Grassland Cave), Riverbank Cave, Still-Water Cavern, Sunlit Cavern
    • Legends: Arceus – Floaro Gardens, Horseshoe Plains, and The Heartwood during the day.
  • Cascoon:
    • Shining Pearl – Routes 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 218, 221, 222, Eterna Forest, Floaroma Meadow, Fuego Ironworks, Valley Windworks (Honey Trees)
Grand Underground (Grassland Cave), Riverbank Cave, Still-Water Cavern, Sunlit Cavern
    • Legends: Arceus – Floaro Gardens, Horseshoe Plains, and The Heartwood during the night.

In Pokémon Go, how can I develop Wurmple?

Regretfully, in Pokémon Go, the possibility of Wurmple evolving into either Cascoon or Silcoon also depends on a coin flip. There are no shortcuts to change the outcome; you have to let destiny choose which bug you will get. Fortunately, evolving Wurmple only costs 12 Wurmple candies, making it reasonably priced. You may get both evolutions very simply if you locate a location where they consistently spawn.

It takes 50 candies to develop a Silcoon or Cascoon into a Beautifly or Dustox.
