The price of the new Marvel Snap Pro Bundle is igniting a CCG civil war.

A new Marvel Snap Pro Bundle is available in the in-game shop, but the CCG community is divided about its price. I say controversy, but more like indignation given the plethora of Reddit threads that compare the price point to other products available for the same amount of money and generally bemoan the costly nature of the game's microtransactions.

For $99.99, the most recent Marvel Snap Pro Bundle, the Pro Bundle Mk. III, offers 155 boosters for five different cards, 9,000 credits, 6,000 collector's tokens, and a new title. What that means for your Marvel Snap decks is that, unless you already have every spotlight card, you can get at least one new card from the collector's shop and maybe a second from spotlight caches. However, many in the Snap community feel that this is insufficient given the high price point.

A Reddit post that contrasts the cost of the most recent Pro Bundle with a weekly shopping budget is already among the top five most upvoted posts on the subreddit, less than a day after it was posted. Several gamers who are upset have left comments on the page, many of which claim that this proves Marvel Snap is more of a pay-to-win option. However, we believe that user sopadegooma's remark, which reads, "Second Dinner for them, no dinner at all for us," says it all the best.

To be clear, Marvel Snap is not the first mobile game that offers high prices; gacha games like Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact as well as more casual games like Monopoly Go have all done this.

It's also accurate to state that some people are defending the price in the comments section of the Reddit thread on the most recent Pro Bundle, albeit the number of people criticizing Second Dinner seems to be far more than the number of people who are in favor of them. In any case, a sizable portion of the community had the same problem with the earlier Pro Bundles, so we don't think the developer will alter the cost after this add-on.
