Eveline, the Evil Resident

There are a lot of moving components in Resident Evil Lore, and one cannot ignore the significance of Eveline from RE7 and RE: Village in the Winters plot cycle. She is not only very spooky, but she would do anything to get in problems for poor Ethan and his spouse Mia. Thus, you may be asking, precisely, who is RE's Eveline and what has happened to her over the years to make her such a devastating force.

Please proceed with care since the remainder of this guide includes spoilers for her narrative. Who is Eveline from Resident Evil?

In the Winters narrative arc seen in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and its follow-up, Resident Evil Village, Eveline is a genetically altered human. Eveline, also referred to by her codename E-001, was created by The Connections using a mold sample that Miranda (yep, that one) gave them. Additionally, a sample of her dead daughter Eva's DNA is included.Eveline was "born" in the early 2000s, but in order to serve as a bioweapon that could be easily infiltrated, The Connections artificially aged her to make her seem like a ten-year-old kid. You wouldn't think the adorable little child would turn into a real-life weapon of tremendous devastation, would you?Her creation, however, sparked debate in the field of bioweapons and weaponry due to the fact that, in addition to the ethical quandary of using a child for mass destruction, her capacity to end conflicts by mind control effectively makes conventional bioweapons, guns, chemical, and nuclear weapons obsolete. The major weapon manufacturers obviously don't want that, do they?In 2014, The Connections made the decision to hide Eveline as organizations such as Blue Umbrella were making every effort to find her and her creators. Eveline was carried onto a cargo ship headed for Central America by agents Alan Droney and, most famously, Mia Winters (Resident Evil Ethan's wife), who pretended to be her parents in order to conceal her in a second laboratory. Eveline's fixation with creating the ideal family around her intensified over the voyage, and as the ship headed into a strong cyclone, she rebelled against her captors. Many of the staff and guests on board, including Alan Droney, perished as a result of Eveline's mold infestation of the ship. Eveline and a freshly infected Mia washed ashore on the beach in the bayou of Dulvey, Louisiana, when the ship finally crashed. They were shortly saved by Jack Baker, who brought them back to his family's ranch. There, Eveline gradually infected each Baker family member with mold, giving her power over them and forcing them to join her "perfect family."Eveline, however, decided that the Bakers were insufficient and gave them orders to kidnap individuals in an effort to increase the size of her family. But without the right medicine, Eveline grew older unnaturally quickly. By early 2017, she looked eighty years old and continued to need a wheelchair to maintain her mobility. Is this beginning to sound familiar? The events of Resident Evil 7 and the infamous Baker House Incident begin when Ethan Winters eventually shows there in quest of his wife Mia. Since she theoretically shares DNA with the powerful Mother Miranda, good ol' Eveline was never going to go down without a fight. However, to really understand this, you'll need to play Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil: Village, and Village's DLC, Shadow of Rose.

What kind of person is Eveline from Resident Evil?

Since Eveline is a bioweapon that was made intentionally, it's fair to conclude that she has a rather erratic personality. She really displays her colors as a , however.vicious, violent, and cunning, yet sometimes it looks as if she is unaware of the evilness of what she is doing. She is a very dangerous person because she straddles the line between being a strong, superhuman creature and a genuine, severely traumatized little girl. Her volatile emotions may cause her to lash out and use her talents to dominate anyone around her.But she also has a human side, as seen by the occasions she shows her vulnerability and insecurities. In addition to being a sentient weapon, she is also a lonely orphaned kid in need of acceptance and affection. She really simply wants a caring family to fall back on, which is probably the source of her jealousy of Rosemary, Ethan's daughter. Her failure to comprehend why Ethan and Mia detest her, as well as her obvious lack of faith in anybody who says they are attempting to assist her, serve to emphasize these fears even more.
