At last, Nintendo unveiled the first Lego playset featuring The Legend of Zelda.

Hey, pay attention!Today, Nintendo unveiled the much anticipated 2-in-1 Great Deku Tree playset, the first product in the Lego's The Legend of Zelda series. We can't wait to own this massive brick piece and put it on display in our houses.

The Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set may be assembled in two different ways, as the name implies: either as the traditional Ocarina of Time design or as the cherry blossom-covered version from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It's hardly unexpected that Nintendo has partnered with the firm again on one of its most cherished properties to date, given the recent popularity of the Mario Lego and Animal Crossing Lego sets.

Lego designer Wes Talbott states to Brick Fanatics, "It was great to work on this set and fill it with details and references from the games as a fan of the franchise." I'm also happy that we were able to satisfy a lot of Zelda aficionados by providing the option to construct one of two variants.

In addition to the tree, there are four playable unique minifigures included with the set. You receive both child and adult Link from Ocarina of Time, along with Zelda and Link dressed as they were in Breath of the Wild. Naturally, a Zelda set wouldn't be complete without the Master Sword, which Lego has scaled down for your little heroes to wield.
