Honor has unveiled the Magic V3, its next ultra-slim foldable.
The moment is perfect if you love foldable phones. The next generation of Samsung Galaxy Z phones is already something we were looking forward to, and Honor has now joined the party by teasing the Magic V3, the company's next flagship foldable. The announcement is scheduled for next week.
The Magic V3 and the Magic Vs3, two new Honor foldable phones, were shown in a series of photos that were leaked on Weibo yesterday. Then, a few hours later, Honor released their own teaser, revealing the V3's design.
Although the Honor Magic V2 is now the thinnest large-format folding phone available, Honor is going one further with the Magic V3, which is even thinner than the Magic V2. This is definitely something to check out if you like large screens but detest carrying about a hefty, cumbersome gadget in your pocket.
Just two days after Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked presentation, on July 12, the Honor Magic V3 and Vs3 will be on sale in China. Although there is no information on when these phones will be released worldwide, we are crossing our fingers because the V2 managed to make it to Europe. I hope that this time around the turnaround is also a little faster.
Even though Honor has just provided us with a glimpse of the design, we still don't know a much about the specs. The V3 is shown with a vegan leather back panel that has an orange hue, and golden accents on the camera bezel and frame. Naturally, Honor has also shown the handset in side profile. It is remarkably thinner than many flagship candy bar phones.
Although Honor hasn't yet released pictures of the Vs3, it's fair to assume that they will soon since the term #MagicVs3 appears in several of their Weibo tweets. The Vs3 is anticipated to be a less expensive V3 substitute, with reduced specs in a comparably thin chassis. Leaked photos reveal a black vegan leather back and an additional unusual camera array positioned in the center, looking like a cropped square housed in a circular container. It is certain to be a contentious design.
