Take on your power armor and flee the storm in the next crossover for Fortnite.

Epic is back at it with their highly anticipated partnerships, as it seems like a Fortnite Fallout crossover is on the horizon. The developer's statement was rather vague, as usual, so we're still not sure precisely what this relationship entails in terms of gameplay.

Considering the enormous popularity of the most current Fallout series on Amazon Prime, it's hardly surprising that the crossover king Fortnite is collaborating with the venerable Bethesda property. An image of the game, showing the iconic Brotherhood of Steel power armor helmet above a dusty cloud and some pipes that seemed industrial, was shared by the official game account. It is complemented by two emojis that allude to the franchise's mascot, Vault Boy: a winking face and a thumbs-up.

We firmly think that Fallout should be available on the Switch, and this collaboration with Fortnite moves us one step closer to being able to explore the vaults while on the go. Although Epic hasn't revealed all the specifics of this collaboration just yet, it is reasonable to guess that some of the most well-known characters from the series will be included in a few new Fortnite skins. Power armor, a vault suit, and maybe even a Ghoul skin are what we anticipate.
