One of the main drawbacks is that its 5,000 mAh capacity is pretty low, with it only providing about 0.8 full iPhone 13 battery charges, and 0.95 iPhone 12 charges. You also can’t use it to charge more than one device at a time. These points, combined with its steep price, can be a little off-putting if you’re looking for real value for money.

However, the Anker 622 MagGo is a handy little power bank, with a useful kickstand that supports the battery pack and your device at the same time. This makes it a good option for long business meetings, watching videos on the go, or catching up with the family over FaceTime.

If you’re looking for something light in the pocket, cost-wise and weight-wise, then take a look at the Anker 313 – a nifty piece of kit with an equally affordable price. It has a 10,000 mAh capacity, which is pretty impressive for the cost and is compatible with fast charging.

The main downsides with this one are its lack of wireless charging and its inability to charge more than one device at a time. Additionally, the USB-C port is input only, meaning you’ll need a chunky USB-A cable in order to charge your devices. However, the option to charge the bank itself with either USB-C or micro-USB is welcome.

The 313 also has a built-in LED power indicator that displays both the remaining power and charging status, and it also boasts a trickle-charging mode designed to provide optimized charging to low-power devices. Overall, it’s a pretty impressive little power bank that doesn’t break the literal bank.

Like the Anker 622 MagGo, the ESR Halolock Power Bank Wallet is a more affordable and stylish alternative to Apple’s MagSafe power bank. Not only is this sleek, magnetic power bank about the same size as a card holder, it also functions like one too, with the capacity to hold your ID, credit card, or cash. On top of all of that, it also doubles up as a stand for your phone.

While the option of wireless charging is nice, this is one of the lower-capacity MagSafe power banks, so you might not manage a full charge unless you opt to plug it in. Fortunately, if you do have a USB-C cable on hand, the ESR offers pretty rapid charging speeds in that regard. But it’s more of a top-up power bank when fully wireless. It’s also pretty pricey for such a low-capacity charger, but if convenience is more important, then this might be a good pick for you.

The Charmast Mini Power Bank is a great option if you’re looking for a small but powerful boost of power. It also has the added bonus of a built-in output port, meaning you can plug the power bank directly into your phone without the need for cables.

With a respectable 5,000 mAh battery capacity, it’s equipped with fast charging protocols, both when charging your phone and when you’re charging the bank itself. In fact, you can get this power bank up to full battery within 1.5 hours if you’re using a 9V-2A quick charger.

There are two different versions of the Charmast Mini Power Bank, with either an Android-compatible USB-C or a lightning output for those with an iPhone 14 or older. We’re not sure how much longer Charmast is going to continue to produce the alternatives, with Apple famously making the leap to USB-C with the iPhone 15 series.

Still, the big selling point here is the super-fast charging. The Iniu Portable Charger claims to charge an iPhone above 60% in thirty minutes or an iPad over 30% in the same time. There are a few downsides to this power bank outside of the price. For the cost, you might expect more outputs. Considering how many chargers are USB-C to USB-C now, a second port would be handy. Still, if that doesn’t pose an issue to you, this is a fantastic option for keeping your battery in the green.

If aesthetics is your thing, this pretty pink portable charger is a perfect pick. Not only is it adorable, but this Yoobao Mini Cute power bank does what it says on the tin – the compact design makes it easy to transport and look good at the same time. The 10,000 mAh capacity is nothing to sniff at and the dual USB-A outputs mean you can charge two devices at once.

However, unlike a lot of modern power banks, the Yoobao Mini Cute is missing the USB-C output port, meaning you can’t take advantage of fast charging if your device supports it. We still think it’s a great option for the affordable price, and even better if it matches your personal style.

If you’re after a powerhouse of a power bank, you need look no further than the Anker Prime 27,540mAh Power Bank, which boasts its impressive battery right there in the name. Featuring 250W of power, this device can charge anything you need it to, even taking a MacBook Pro 16″ (M2 Pro) from zero to 50% charge in 28 minutes. Just imagine how quickly this beast can charge your smartphone.

The display on the power bank even offers real-time stats, showing just how much juice it has left, and how much longer it will be until your device has a full charge. Even when it does need a recharge, it takes just 37 minutes to get it back up to full capacity.

Of course, the biggest downside to a power bank like this is the price tag. Any device that features lightning charging, a 170W dual-charge, and a 140W single charge is bound to cost some cash. However, if you’re a tech fiend, it’s fair to say that the Anker Prime 27,540mAh Power Bank is more than worth the cost, even if it’s also the size of a soda can.
