Switch and mobile art games
Switch and smartphone in Manifold Garden
When I first played Manifold Garden, it was like a lightning bolt down the back of my spine. One of the finest games I played in 2020, but I haven't seen much talk about it since. It leads you through exquisitely constructed stages with deceptive design, influenced by M.C. Escher and several other artists, over the course of its about five hours. The puzzles are of the highest caliber, and the worlds are endlessly captivating as they repeatedly fold in on themselves. It may not spark your imagination, but it opens your eyes to a whole new universe of others'.
Passpartout: The Hungry Artist - Mobile and Switch
Passpartout is one game that really makes you use your imagination. Assuming the character of the eponymous artist, you strive to sell artwork from your garage in order to make ends meet. The turn of events? You genuinely painted every piece of art! The quality of your job and, therefore, the attention of clients, are determined by a very basic method. However, it doesn't really matter since playing this awkward yet adorable game and watching your works pop is a little delight, and every sale is a good representation of the pinnacles of the artist's life. Though, to be honest, that makes it all the more enjoyable.
Gris: Mobile and Switch
is another game that may be better described as an experience.Gris is the tale of the reawakening of a colorless universe. It's serene, reflective, and, above all, lovely. It was made possible by the coincidental meeting of two Ubisoft workers who knew they wanted to create independent video games and went out and did just that. At the 2019 Game Awards, it took home the title of "Game for Impact," and while I'm not quite sure what that means, the game leaves a lasting impression on anyone plays it.The Jackbox Party Pack - Mobile and Switch Edition
For those who like art, the Jackbox Party Packs provide a variety of activities. The most well-known is Drawful, which is essentially a bizarre game of charades. Another game is Civic Doodle, where participants must each submit a drawing that produces amusing outcomes. Whatever artistic Jackbox game you choose to play, you can be sure that it will be enjoyable. A guide to the top Jackbox games is available here. if you want assistance selecting one.
