Sims 2024's greatest life
Occasionally, it's pleasant to disconnect from everything by engaging in a life sim on your Switch or mobile device. Although we've limited it to the greatest of the best, this list might go on forever. Almost any situation you may imagine can be represented by a life sim, like running a bathhouse, farming, being an animal lover's paradise, or tending a cemetery. See our selections by reading on.
Although a Sims Nintendo Switch version is not available yet, there are still plenty of amazing farm games, indie games, and wildlife games to delve into and go on a brand-new journey.
These are our selections for the greatest life sims available for Switch and mobile devices.
Switch and mobile in Stardew Valley
First, let's address the most apparent one. One of the greatest life simulators available is Stardew Valley, which is easily playable on mobile devices and the Switch, allowing you to take it with you wherever you go. Not only can you farm here, however; you can also mingle for hours underneath the town, chat with the Stardew Valley characters, and catch a tonne of Stardew Valley fish.
Pelican Town offers a plethora of activities and allows you to live your life as you like. It also has an amazing music and is quite peaceful, so there's really nothing stopping you from playing this game or, like me, opening your many save files. See our review of Stardew Valley here as well.
Switch and mobile for Wylde Flowers
It goes without saying that we at SmartRead like Wylde Flowers by Studio Drydock. In fact, we conducted a team interview and have a Wylde Flowers review as well. In any case, we heartily endorse it as it's a charming life simulation that combines magic and farming with a dash of romance and camaraderie.
After tidying up your new home and settling into the hamlet, you may learn the ins and outs of farming and completing missions while armed with a cauldron and wand to guide you. Oh, and there's more: you have the ability to transform into a cat.
Super Nintendo Life – 3DS
Well, yeah, we all wish it were available on the Switch or mobile devices, but chances are good you have a 3DS lying around. I heartily suggest Tomodachi Life if you haven't already, for its absurd and bizarre good times. There's a lot more going on than just the memes that come from the song-making minigame, which you have definitely seen (or heard).
Making Mii figures that look like you or whatever you choose, placing them in an apartment complex, and watching life unfold before your eyes is the idea. Certain people may have specific goals in mind, such as getting married, starting a family, or even deciding they detest everyone and want to become authors.
Switch
Spirittea
Spirittea is a brand-new life simulation game for the Switch that lets you travel to a little village, learn that spirits exist, and then decide you want to take a bath in the town's bathhouse. This definitely has Spirited Away influence, and that's a good thing.
With spirittea, you may spend your life managing a spa, forming friendships, and generally leading a happy existence surrounded by friends and, well, celestial spirits. See our excellent Spirittea review for additional details about this delightful game.
Disney Dreamlight Valley - Mobile and Switch
I believe that all of us have fantasised about living in a world where Disney characters are always at our sides. Although Wall-E is untalkable in real life, you may form deep connections with a wide variety of important characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, including Mickey, Moana, and Mother Gothel.
You have complete control over how Dreamlight Valley is decorated, including where to put the homes of your residents and where to cultivate food. Spend your days fishing, mining, and having fun while you sing beloved Disney songs that will stick in your brain. While you're here, take a look at what's new in the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update and pick up some new Disney Dreamlight Valley codes for some freebies.
Animal Crossing: Fresh Perspectives – A Transition
Animal Crossing obviously has to be on this list. You go to a new, isolated island, where you encounter animal villagers and invite them to settle there while creating the island precisely as you see fit. On a lovely tropical beach, you may fish, capture bugs, decorate, and create stylish clothes to your heart's content. Just remember to pay off your debts so you can afford a nicer home. Alternatively, maybe a cosy tent is more your style.
We have several instructions available if you need help getting started in your new paradise. You can fill your museum with the aid of this comprehensive ACNH fish list, ACNH art guide, and ACNH flower breeding guide, which will help you fill your island with gorgeous posies.
Switch
Fae Farm
Fae Farm is the perfect choice if you're looking for a traditional agricultural life simulation with a hint of magic and mystery. You discover additional beneficial spells to lighten your everyday tasks as you establish your farm and assist the villagers. Create a tornado to gather your harvest and destroy adversaries in the town's tunnels, or call in a downpour to irrigate your garden.
In Fae Farm multiplayer, players may compete against one another to capture the most Fae Farm fish. If you'd want to breed some new colours, we also have a helpful guide to Fae Farm flowers. Also, check out our review of Fae Farm, which is.
Switch for the Graveyard Keeper Not everything is sunshine and flowers; some grunt labour must be done. Here you are in Graveyard Keeper, then. As the title implies, you are now responsible for maintaining a town's cemetery and dealing with its deceased. I suggest this game if you thought Stardew Valley was a little too lovely, even if it might be a touch bleak at times.Graveyard Keeper's main gameplay pulls you in as you accomplish objectives and daily activities that include, well, dealing with dead remains. In addition, there is a little amount of warfare mixed in with fishing.
