Mario is a medium-weight
Without the main guy, karting wouldn't be the same. Mario is a fantastic all-around player and the ideal spot to start, much as in a lot of other sports games.
Luigi is a medium-weight
Luigi, Mario's brother and all-around kind guy, rose to fame in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe because to his terrifying and unforgettable death look.
Princess Peach, a medium
Is racing permitted for royalty? I wonder whether Mario ever got to enjoy that cake, but maybe she needs the cash for additional cake ingredients.
Princess Daisy - medium
Luigi's favorite princess, Daisy, is an excellent all-around player who also seems to be skilled in sports, as seen by her frequent appearances in Mario Tennis and Golf games.
Rosalina: hefty
Rosalina—everyone's favorite extraterrestrial woman—came from the Super Mario Galaxy game, where she assisted Mario in finding Princess Peach and took care of the Luma family.
Mario Tanooki – medium
Who doesn't like dressing up as a furry friend? Since this specific attire is from Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES, Mario has been doing this for decades.
Medium-sized cat peach
Peach must have felt excluded from Mario's antics with his animal costumes. So, here is her wearing one of the Super Mario 3D World cat outfits. really cute.
Yoshi is a medium
Is Yoshi a reptile? Is Yoshi simply Yoshi, or what? In any case, they are intelligent enough to race, and they have done so since Super Mario Kart on the SNES was released.
Toad - light
Toad is among the many inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom, which got its name from their caps that resemble mushrooms. Or are they the heads of the Toads? Is it possible for them to remove them? Who knows?
Light-hearted Koopa Troopa
Koopa Troopa, one of Bowser's henchmen, is taking the day off to engage in some lighthearted racing activities. Perhaps, however, it's all a big hoax, and they really want to run Mario off the rails.
Light - Shy Guy
The masked threat has been around since Super Mario Bros. 2 on the NES. For what reason are they bashful? Perhaps the truth behind the mask, but I'd prefer not to find out for myself.
Lakitu - lightWhile Mario is out exploring, this soaring companion often carries the camera. She has also been seen working as a traffic signal in Mario Kart.
Light Toadette
A toad female, we suppose? Since there is usually one Toadette and a lot more Toads, I'm thinking this is a Smurfette situation. Are the mushrooms in her hair now, too?
King Boo: powerful
It's unclear why a ghost would want to race, but he's here and he's adorable. Though he shouldn't weigh a thing, I'm not sure why he's such a hefty character.
Little Mario is quite light.
When Mario and Luigi first appeared in Yoshi's Story on the SNES, a gang of amiable Yoshis made sure they reached their parents.
Lightweight baby Luigi
Were he and his sibling born with the enormous hats? Was it that they would become what they would become? Why weren't they given hats that fit babies? In any case, they're adorable.
Tiny Princess Peach - very thin
Princess Peach's infant at least has a crown that suits a baby. Having said that, her parents were undoubtedly wealthier. Were Mario's parents also plumbers?
Little Princess Daisy - very frail
Well, why not have another baby? It's not as if Mario Kart could have any other little characters. Rather of racing about like all these babies, why can't I just be Monty Mole?
Rosalina the baby is quite light.
ANOTHER infant. What is happening? Why are they allowed to drive? How do the young drivers drive? This material is hazardous. To be honest, I thought I witnessed Koopa Troopa push Mario down a cliff once.
Heavy metal Mario
When Mario first encountered this power-up in Super Mario 64, he had to become metal in order to weigh himself down and descend to the bottom of water bodies. He is appropriately lot heavier than Mario.
Heavy-duty pink gold peach
Did Peach really need to do one better than the other? Envision possessing the magical ability to transform into metal, and your friend—who is already royalty—does the same with more elaborate metals. Insensitive.
Wario is quite hefty.
Wario, the mustachioed enemy of Mario, first debuted on the Game Boy in Super Mario Land 2. Since then, he has been pestering Mario in an attempt to pilfer riches and amass wealth.
Heavy-hitting Waluigi
I'm not kidding when I say that Waluigi was once intended to be Wario's tennis partner, but he has since matured and gained the respect of Mario enthusiasts. I hope he gets to make an appearance in Smash eventually.
Heavy Donkey Kong
Forget about babies—how can a monkey get a driver's license? Now, I don't know who oversees Mario Kart safety, but it seems like a couple rules aren't being followed.
Bowser - really hefty
Maybe King Koopa himself is trying to snatch Peach from Mario? Or is he simply trying to make his kid seem bad? In any case, it's adorable to watch him riding such a little bike.
Very light, dry bones
Wet bones also exist, which is implied by the presence of dry bones—two concepts I really don't want to consider. In any case, how is this monster alive? Is that all that's within a skeleton? Anyhow, it seems to be able to drive.
Light Bowser Jr.
Bowser Jr., the real successor to Bowser, enjoys the arts and can be seen assisting Mario in calming Bowser's Fury when he's not painting Isle Delfino into submission.
Dry Bowser: very hefty
It's just Bowser, but he's not alive. And presumably that's okay? I hope that Dry Mario, who is essentially a mustache on a skull wearing a ridiculous tiny hat, will be an option in the next Mario Kart game.
Very light is Lemmy Koopa.
One of the most erratic Koopalings, the adversaries from Super Mario World's initial introduction. Since the American translator loved music so much, he named his son Lemmy after Lemmy from Motorhead.
Lightweight Larry Koopa
Larry is simply a typical man named Koopaling. Some claim he was named after Larry King, while others claim Larry Mullen Jr., the drummer for U2, was the inspiration. Whichever way, Larry, what sort of name is that?
Lightweight Wendy Koopa
Wendy, the lone female Koopaling, is named after punk singer Wendy O. Williams and is among Mario's most fashionable foes thanks to her bow and bangles.
Ludwig Von Koopa, a heavier medium
This Ludwig, with his characteristic mop of hair, is named after the notorious musician Ludwig Van Beethoven. In addition, he received a cute puppy named for him, which is really a little selfish.
Iggy Koopa, a heavy-medium
Though it's unlikely that this green-haired Koopaling ever shared a home with David Bowie, it bears the name of legendary punk musician Iggy Pop. However, he does seem to have inherited the trim build of his namesake.
Roy Koopa: powerful
Roy is named after the legendary artist Roy Orbison, which is perhaps too much for many younger players to comprehend given his big spectacles. I think he looks great with the pink glasses.
Morton Koopa Jr. is a heavyweight.
Despite being named after the actor Morton Downey Jr., Morton resembles Paul Stanley from KISS in terms of legendary star makeup. Though it's an odd mash-up, I like the way it looks.
Girl with Ink, medium
Hey! Do they have children? Do they resemble squids? Are they old enough to drive legally? I need responses to these queries. In any case, the Inklings arrive from Splatoon in all of their ink-redible splendor.
You may take on the role of the orange-haired Inkling girl from Splatoon 1 and wreak havoc on the back of a properly splattered kart.
Medium - Inkling Boy
Once again, woomy! Splatoon doesn't stop at just one racer; in order to let players to assume the roles of their favorite kid/squid hybrid, it also introduces the Inkling Boy. You may even flaunt your preferred Splatoon attire with a few other alternatives.
If you don't like the white, we see him sitting on a splattered kart with a different color scheme.
Link-heavy
Atop his powerful Master Cycle, the famous warrior Link from The Legend of Zelda enters Mario Kart and creates a breathtaking circuit that brings Hyrule to life.
Link is dressed in the iconic Breath of the Wild attire. But I do wonder, where is Zelda? Any day, I would prefer her over Rosalina the infant.
Animal Crossing Villager — Medium-Sized Male
The charming villagers from Animal Crossing join the racing pandemonium for the first time, providing some representation from Nintendo's other massive series.
The male counterpart seems almost too innocent to be tossing bananas into the path of unsuspecting racers, with his hair tousled and wearing a classic t-shirt.
Female Animal Crossing Villager - medium
Both villagers revive the gorgeous Animal Crossing course, which, like the games, varies with the seasons, and they both sport the looks from the original titles.
What's not to love about that cute kart with an insect theme? The female villager choice is dressed in a red cardigan and a pretty pink updo. Both practical and cozy for quickly rounding curves.
Light - Isabelle
This cute dog is working as a side job in another Nintendo game, although she first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf to assist players in running their town. If you want to bash people up as a sweet little gal, you can also find her in Smash.
Isabelle is another moniker for her because of the way her head resembles a bag of bells. Do you understand? She really is a bell. Strange things.
Mii - every weight
Lastly, depending on the size of your character, you may drop their very own Mii into the action. When you use compatible amiibo figurines, you may even unlock unique clothes for your Mii.
Light
BirdoBirdo, who debuted as an opponent in Super Mario Bros. 2 on the NES, has since become somewhat of a fan favorite, making appearances in a number of sports, gatherings, and other Mario games.
You can also choose from nine different color choices for your Birdo in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and their bow can even change color.
Petey Piranha, a powerful
Even if there are some piranha plants on the courses, a Mario game wouldn't be the same without them. Petey makes a surprising cameo in Smash Bros. after making his debut in Super Mario Sunshine and returning as a playable character in prior Mario Kart titles.
His legs are what distinguish him from other plants. In addition, he sports trousers and a single pair of scarlet underwear with spots.
Medium-sized Kamek
Kamek returns to the playable driver lineup in wave five of the Booster Course Pass. We've all seen that annoying magikoopa, who is often seen wreaking havoc on Yoshi with Baby Bowser. Were you aware that Kamek had once adopted Bowser? and brought him up? Currently, nevertheless, he serves as Bowser's adviser. I'm not sure how that occurred, but that's what happened.
Medium Wiggler
Now, how big can Wiggler get inside a car? Wigglers have many pairs of legs, but it seems like they may now transform into hands and arms by just donning gloves. That just begs more questions.
Wigglers are normally docile, but when agitated, they may become horrible creatures. They gave me nightmares as a child, and in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you can now play as one! I doubt that I will choose Wiggler.
Medium-sized Diddy Kong
In wave six, Diddy, the nephew of Donkey Kong, climbs back into a kart, but this time, feeling a bit more mature, he obtains a medium-weight kart instead of his typical light one. Diddy made his gaming debut in Double Dash, but he returned for Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart Tour.
Funky Kong - heavyYes, Funky Kong makes a comeback with Diddy, looking super-funky with his cut-off jorts, sunglasses, and white vest. Funky gained popularity as the greatest character in the game in the Flame Runner kart after making his debut in Mario Kart Wii, especially among competitive players.
