Marvel Snap, Genshin Impact, and ourselves are among the Mobies nominees!

The Mobies, a brand-new awards program honoring the previous 12 months in mobile gaming, are now accepting submissions. We're excited to honor some of the greatest achievements in recent memory with prizes for Mobile Game of the Year, Competitive Game of the Year, Mobile Indie Game of the Year, and many more. Even though the awards have received over a million votes so far, you still have time to vote.

Several of the PT team's favorite games are competing for Mobile Game of the Year. Marvel Snap, Genshin Impact, Brawl Stars, Call of Duty: Mobile, PUBG Mobile, and Pokemon Unite are among the games on the shortlist. The candidates for Mobile Developer of the Year include Supercell, Garena, TiMi Studio Group, Second Dinner, Krafton, and Lightspeed Studio. Like with every category, you may vote on your favorite every day until June 30 on the official Mobies website.

Additionally, we at SmartRead are excited to be nominated for the Coverage Platform of the Year award (recall that I mentioned voting in the previous paragraph? It would be lovely, really. Despite the focus on development, professional players, broadcasters, and content producers are also receiving nominated for prizes in categories unrelated to mobile gaming. The first-ever Mobies ceremony is scheduled on July 14 at LA's Infinite Reality Studios, whose sound stages have hosted notable productions such as the Bvlgari Serpenti commercial with Zendaya and the music video for Lil Nas X's "Call Me By Your Name." If you are unable to go to California, fear not—the event will be streamed live, with further information to be released closer to the day.

"The Mobies is fast approaching and I'm filled with excitement thinking about the success we've already achieved," said Matt Rutledge, founder and CEO of BAYZ, who organized the event. How far the business has gone in such a short period of time is a real tribute to its relevance and appeal.
