Angels, flee; Hideki Kamiya is working on Bayonetta 4!
We know we're not alone in being excited to embark on another journey with the fabled Umbra Witch, where we will surely meet and battle a plethora of angels and enemies. Last month, Nintendo revealed the release date of Bayonetta 3, answering all of our prayers.
Since series director Hideki Kamiya has said that he has plans for Bayonetta 4 and beyond, there may be even more reason to rejoice. More precisely, a tweet claims that the industry legend has concepts that might lead us all the way to Bayonetta 9, even if we haven't even gotten our hands on Bayonetta 3 yet. It's thrilling to think of getting to spend even more time with the seductive witch.
Comments on a Reddit post indicate that fans have a variety of suggestions for what they'd want to see in the future, so it seems that we are not the only ones eager to spend even more time with this gaming queen. Even if Kamiya is a bit of a joker and nine games seems like a lot, Bayonetta 4 still feels inevitable at this point.
We completely embrace the concept that Redditors would want to see a crossover with Devil May Cry from Capcom. Imagine Dante and Bayonetta battling angels and demons together, side by side. How delightful that would be. Well, why not include Vergil as well, while we're at it? After that, we're hosting a party.
When will Bayonetta 3 be released?
As exciting as it is to imagine what lies ahead, we still need Bayonetta 3 to release, but thankfully, that day is quickly approaching on October 28 when the Umbra Witch makes her much-anticipated return.
