Fans of Poppy Playtime are concerned when important Mob Entertainment members depart.
Fans of Poppy Playtime are using social media to voice their worries over the announcement of a Mob Entertainment exit from significant personnel at the company. The primary team members in question are Zachary Preciado and Micah, along with developer Andy Gill. Even if the individuals involved have explained why they chose to leave via X, the Huggy Wuggy community is still a little alarmed by this.
Given that both Micah and Zachary worked on the show from its inception and had top roles at the firm that produced Poppy Playtime, the news of their departure is very startling. Zachary voices Bunzo Bunny and Boogie Bot, and Micah provides facial expressions for the cut-outs of Bron and PJ Pug-a-Pillar. The two also provide voices to other series characters. But if there's one thing Rick and Morty has taught us in the last 12 months, it's that voice actors, no matter how well-known they may appear, are essentially interchangeable. Therefore, we don't think that this leave will have a significant impact on the in-game characters.
Zachary, Micah, and developer Andy Gill all left the firm over creative disagreements and different views on management approaches, according to X postings from each of them. The Preciado brothers now want to resume producing cartoons for ZAMination, their own firm, while Gill is focusing on his work as an animator via Cubical, his YouTube channel. Though only time will tell, there doesn't seem to be any overt animosity between the people quitting Mob Entertainment and the group working on Poppy Playtime Chapter 3.
Although the departure of key members of the creative team raises some concerns about how this could affect the series going forward, Poppy Playtime's main plot shouldn't be too negatively impacted. We're really sure in that since, as we confirmed in ourPoppy Playtime interview, the developer has already finalised Poppy Playtime's backstory, according to brothers Zach and Seth Belanger, CEO and CCO of Mob Entertainment.
That brings you up to speed on the unexpected news of Zachary and Micar Preciado's departure from Mob Entertainment, as well as the developer Andy Gill.
