Boss battles, Dark Souls Priscilla lore, and more
Priscilla from Dark Souls is a very mysterious individual; learning about her past is both illuminating and perplexing. You see, she's a crossbreed dragon with some intriguing beliefs around her, but you may not uncover much of them on your first visit to Lordran. Don't worry; we're here to help you find her residence and get in touch with her.
You should be aware that the royal siblings Dark Souls Gwyndolin and Dark Souls Gwynevere as well as Priscilla are not the only characters in Lordran. It's also worth reading our guide on Dark Souls bosses, where we provide you with a brief overview of each boss's backstory and strategies for defeating them.
In any case, let's examine Priscilla from Dark Soul.
Priscilla from Dark Souls: Who is she?
We can identify her, but we aren't really allowed to go too much beyond her. That is to say, it is quite difficult to determine her lineage, particularly with regard to her mother's identity. Although it is strongly implied that Seath the Scaleless is her father, very little is known about her mother. Gwynevere, the Princess of Sunlight, may be a contender if we go down the rabbit hole of speculations. However, we don't know whether Gwyn would approve of his daughter having a sexual relationship with a dragon, and we'd rather not consider more nefarious possibilities.
But we do know that Priscilla is a hybrid of a dragon and that she lives in the Painted World of Ariamis, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the Dark Souls series. But she isn't here by choice; the gods of Anor Londo rejected her because they were afraid of Prsicilla's innate lifehunting abilities (though it doesn't exactly help that she comes from a unique background).
How do I enter the Painted World of Ariamis in Dark Souls?
Alright, now let's talk about how to get to the region where Priscilla lives before getting into the possible boss battle you may have with her. Although it's difficult to get there, the Painted World of Ariamis is well worth the effort.
Okay, so you need to know where the strange doll is, a special artifact that allows you to enter the optional region, before we even tell you where the artwork is in Anor Londo. Without any assistance, novice gamers could lose out on this, however. You must first face the Stray Demon in the Undead Asylum (you enter this fight by falling through the floor of the Asylum Demon boss area). After that, you may explore your surroundings and eventually find a Black Knight who, coincidentally, is watching over the doll.
It's time to visit Anor Londo now that you have the unusual doll; chances are, you already know where to go. You have to get to the chapel—that's where you cross the rafters. The Painted World of Ariamis is at the bottom. All you have to do is go downward, deal with any Painting Guardians along the way, and when you get to the painting, present the doll.
You've successfully entered the Painted World of Ariamis.
Where is Priscilla from Dark Souls?
We don't have a sophisticated method to say how to contact her. All you need to do is take out your magic, grab your sword, and make your way to the end of the room, where Priscilla is waiting for you. But because she isn't really hostile or your opponent, there isn't a fog gate. You may either hit her, which will start her boss battle, or you can have a polite discussion and leap over the cliff behind her to return to Anor Londo.
Priscilla boss battle in Dark Souls
This duel has a creative concept, but that's also what makes it so simple. You can see Priscilla's tracks in the snow covering the arena, but she typically makes herself invisible, which puts you at a severe disadvantage. She not only takes damage when you attack her, but she also regains visibility.
Any assaults she may try are likely to strike hard but are also readily telegraphed, making a dodge not too difficult. Alternatively, you might protect yourself with the bloodshield; we recommend this shield because of the blood clot her scythe causes.
Oh, and you get Priscilla's dagger as a prize if you succeed in chopping off her tail, but to be honest, it's not really that impressive of a weapon.
