Zelda: Shrine instructions for Tears of the Kingdom

For those of you who would rather not spend hours hitting your head against a brick wall, here is a brief tour of some of the more difficult Zelda Tears of the Kingdom shrines.

Walkthrough of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Domizuin shrine

It seems difficult, but the TotK Domizuin shrine is really quite simple. Go up the pillar you see as soon as you arrive, enter the enormous cube by hitting the crystal in front of you, and then search for the gray pillar that is seen in the above image. By utilizing the second crystal—the one in the cube's center—and climbing through it to the top, you may slant this pillar to look like it does in the image. Then, for a safer way, you may blast the first crystal outside the cube or simply cautiously leap to the exit.Hit the second crystal until the short floating platform is facing up, then climb through it to access the treasures inside. To unlock the second chest, you may fire at the crystal by spinning it until it is flat on the ground, hopping onto its platform, and rotating it the other way up. To reach the last chest, rotate the cube by shooting at the crystal near the entrance from inside the cube. The third chest is located outside.

Walkthrough of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Orochium shrine

Avoid heading in the direction of the lasers at the start of TotK's Orochium shrine. Rather, go to the left, engage the construct, and climb up via the overhang that is connected to the enormous building. Once above, you may glide down or use a bow to defeat the foes below. You can locate another construct and a chest with a bundle of arrows if you ignore the stairs and turn around the corner. Good.Proceed to the top of the stairs, open the doors, and enter the chamber. You have two options: sneak past or shatter the laser and fall. The former path takes you to a chamber with a chest; open it, take out the key, and climb up. This leads you to the location where the sneaker would eventually arrive; eliminate the adversaries, unlock the glowing door, and seize the orb.Take the sphere to the rear of the space (the side opposite the metal doors) and get on a moving platform. Once there, to get a glider, place the orb in the shimmering dip. With the glider out of the way and the orb fastened, prepare it to glide down the ramp using the rails that are built into it. If you'd like, get on board and return to the shrine's starting point. Take out the sphere, insert it into the opening, and voilà! You've figured out the shrine.

Walkthrough of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Runakit shrine

All the qualities of a lighthearted, rickety game design are there in TotK's Runakit. Its position is shown above. As soon as you go in, two ladders are in front of you. Soar at them and ascend. Using Ultrahand, grab the glowing ball, place it on the right rail, and watch it roll. Then it's the same as before, except you have to construct some skates since the rails are wider. There are several methods to do this, but the one I went with is shown in the picture above; it works flawlessly. Simply use Ultrahand to adhere everything together, then watch it roll. This is the last round. There is just one rail this time. Here, almost anything goes; all you need to do is become creative. If you're still stumped, you may replicate my dreadful invention in the image above. Though not elegant, it functions. You're done; all you have to do is drop the ball into the hole. Enter through the door to get your prize.

Walkthrough of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom In-isa shrine

The site of the TotK In-isa temple is seen above. Utilizing Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's fusion ability is the main focus of this shrine. First, make something to destroy the stone wall just ahead by fusing a boulder with any extra weapon in your inventory. Fortunately, there are plenty of boulders available. Simply choose your favorite. Two chests may be found in the next room. One is the small pillar to your left as you enter; just use your new boulder weapon to bash the pillar up until it falls. To your right is the other. You may either aim your bow and draw it over one of the torches in the corner, or you can gather all the fire fruit in this area and fuse it to an arrow. The chest platform will then burn away when you fire it at the leaves above, allowing the chest to drop and fall open for you to access. The last chamber presents a fighting task. Although defeating this construction is not too difficult, you may make it simpler by aiming your fire-fruit-fused arrow onto the ground's leaves. Then, use your weapon to wreak havoc on this helpless robot until he is defeated. Finally, breach the stone wall behind it and go in the direction of the exit. Simple as pie.

Zelda: The Kingdom's Tears Walkthrough of Jonsau Shrine

To access TotK's Jonsau shrine, go to the spot shown in the top picture and go inside. This one is all about yellow-painted buoyant items. As you enter, there's a yellow ball in the water below and a switch above the water. Using Ultrahand, grab it, push it out till it aligns with the switch, then pull it as far below the surface as you can. It should fly up and flip on when you release it.Proceed further, and as you round the bend in the hallway, you encounter an adversary. Remove it and go onward. This problem is identical to the last one, except instead of a ball, you have a board. The same procedure as above applies when the plank is angled vertically as opposed to horizontally: align it, drag it under the water, and release it.Entering the last chamber, the scene seems somewhat altered. They are, but not by much. Seize the yellow sphere, drag it till it aligns with the wooden board on the upper level (slightly to the left of the center), submerge it under the water, then release it. This ought should topple the wooden plank and send a platform tumbling to the ground. With Ultrahand, you may now move the wooden plank to serve as a bridge to the platform. Next, leap onto the toppled platform and apply recall to it. After bouncing about a while, the platform will launch high enough for you to leap off and into the shrine's finish. Easy!Naturally, there are still a ton of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shrines for us to locate, so be sure to return often.
