The Golden Triangle Strategy
If you've previously finished the Triangle Strategy, you're probably already familiar with the party votes, in which each team member casts a vote and the results are followed by the whole group. There is a hidden fourth vote in Chapter 17: If Griefs Could Passions Move, which prevents you from criticizing any other members of the core team.
The fourth option's implementation is dependent on choices made as far back as Chapter 7, but crucially, it is independent of your belief. If everything is done successfully, a fourth choice with the phrase "There must be another way?" should show up when you go to vote in chapter 17. If not, you don't fit the requirements.
These are the prerequisites for the Golden Route of the Triangle Strategy.
- In chapter seven, don’t use the fire traps to defend the village if you choose to stay and defend Roland. If you surrendered Roland, this choice does not appear.
- In chapter nine, you must choose to help Sorsley with the illegal salt trade
- In chapter ten, you must reveal Roland’s identity to Svarog, but this is only possible if you previously assisted Sorsley
- In chapter 11, you must choose to stand and defend the Roselle, and then uncover the Pink Rock, known as the Roselle Key.
- In chapter 15, you must visit Lord Symone in Wolffort. While this means you won’t get Cordelia, it does add Milo to your party
When you complete the fourth conversation choice in chapter 17, which is to say "There must be another way?", Serenoa will ask himself a few more questions. Respond to the questions in the given sequence.
- Greet them with the Wolffort demesne’s wildfire?
- Might Lord Svarog be the key?
- We can expose the truth hidden in the Goddess’s statue.
- They’re of the Consortium.
By doing this, Benedict, Frederica, and Roland will be saved by opening the Triangle Strategy golden path. Additionally, it will open two additional chapters that reveal the real resolution. Wishing you luck!
