Snom evolution overview
Who is not a fan of Snom? Snom is really a lovely word to pronounce, isn't it? Without a doubt, our favorite bug-type Pokémon is Frosmoth. Let's see how to get it by reading our Snom evolution guide. They are the only Pokémon ever to possess the ice scales ability, which reduces the damage done by special attacks, and they are both ice and insect kinds. See? Snom is amazing; she's more than just a gorgeous face.
These are all the bug Pokémon weaknesses and ice Pokémon weaknesses that you should be aware of in order to protect your Snom. Watch out for the fire Pokémon, however. Where am I going to find Snom?
Priorities first: in order to develop, you will need a Snom. It may be found in either Scarlet and Violet or Sword and Shield. These are the places in both games where they consistently spawn:
- Pokémon Sword and Shield – Route 8, Route 10, Lake of Outrage, Giant’s Cap, Hammerlocke Hills, Stony Wilderness. In the Crown Tundra expansion pass, you can find Snom in the Slippery Slope, Snowslide Slope, and the Path to the Peak.
- Pokémon Scarlet and Violet – Dalizapa Passage, Glaseado Mountain, and in one-star Tera Raid battlers. You can also trade a Flabébé in Cortondo for a Snom. If you need a Flabébé, here’s our Floette evolution guide.
How should Snom evolve?
You must level up Snom at night when its friendship level is high in order for it to develop into its adult frost moth form. This holds true for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as well as Sword and Shield.
Snom might have a calming bell fitted if you feel that you need to strengthen your relationship. The Old Cemetery and Hammerlocke of Sword and Shield, as well as Scarlet and Violet's Mesagoza, are the locations of soothe bells. Additionally, Delibird Presents stores sell these.
Where am I able to find Frosmoth?
Or, you could simply go straight to the Frosmoth and forego the whole Snom evolution process. Where they appear in the two Switch games is as follows:
- Pokémon Sword and Shield – Giant’s Cap, Hammerlocke Hills, and Stony Wilderness. In the Crown Tundra expansion pass, you can catch a Frosmoth on the Path to the Peak, and in Max Lairs.
- Pokémon Scarlet and Violet – North Province: Area One, Glaseado Mountain, Area Zero, and in four- and six-star Tera Raid battles.
