One track in particular sticks out among the Donkey Kong series' lush rainforests and thick flora. Mario Kart Double Dash's DK Mountain shoots players out of a cannon and up to the top of a cranky volcano, where they must dodge falling rocks to descend. This is a challenging course with several bridges and falling debris, which is part of what makes it so rewarding to become good at.

Ghost Valley 3Ghost Valley 3 is a nightmare, which is appropriate. It's definitely not one for novices, with its tight turns, zigzagging lanes, and flaws in the track. Even still, even after all these years, it's still one of the earliest Mario Kart circuits that is very difficult. Nintendo Switch Online offers the original SNES Mario Kart for anyone who would want to give it a try. Unless, of course, you're afraid of ghosts.
3DS Rainbow Road
Choosing only one Rainbow Road is difficult since every entry in the Mario Kart series offers a different interpretation of the idea. However, with good cause, Mario Kart 7's Rainbow Road is a popular favorite. This challenging level includes the moon's surface and Saturn's rings in addition to the well-known Rainbow Road, making it a really interplanetary journey.
