A synthetic teddy bear with sentience, Monokuma holds the title of headmaster at Hope's Peak Academy. He is also the one who started the Killing School Life game in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. At first, Monokuma seems to be quite happy and laid back, but as you get to know him, you'll discover his terrible nature and nefarious motivations. His slogan is "thrills, chills, and kills!" and he revels in chaos and carnage.Similar to the two halves of Yin and Yang, his black and white design symbolizes his dualism. His black side features a menacing smile and a crimson eye that resemble the Hope's Peak Academy emblem, while his white side has a sweet, content face that resembles a classic teddy bear.
Danganronpa Enoshima Junko
The most recognizable student on the team and Hope's Peak Academy's Ultimate Fashionista, Junko Enoshima, is a familiar face even to those who haven't played Danganronpa. She immediately strikes me as being a little ill-tempered and conceited, and her outspoken, careless attitude often lands her in hot water.
Warning: But as the game goes on, we witness her darker side, and it becomes clear that she is very indifferent and depressed. Her crazy "moods" are sometimes erratic, ranging from sickly sweetness to deep sadness, making her difficult to interpret.
Makoto Naegi's Danganronpa
Makoto Neagi attends Hope's Peak Academy's 78th class. Often referred to as the "Ultimate Hope" or the "Ultimate Lucky Student," he is a kind, kind, and optimistic individual who occasionally exhibits a somewhat naiveté.He is significantly more amiable and personable than the other students in his class, and he is a pacifist who typically strives to avoid conflict at all costs. Byakuya Togami Danganronpa
Byakuya Togami, who attends Hope's Peak Academy in Class 78th, is a rich student and the heir of a global financial corporation. Because of the strange inheritance arrangement of the Togami family, Byakuya had to compete with his fifteen half-siblings to become the future head of the family.Even though he was the youngest competitor, he emerged victorious and declared his intention to see his family's business grow even more. Byakuya, who inherited his family's riches, amassed an exceptional personal wealth and was identified by Hope's Peak Academy as the "Ultimate Affluent Progeny."
Celestia Ludenberg Danganronpa
Celestia Ludenberg, well known by her nickname Celeste, is a student in Class 78th at Hope's Peak Academy and is well-known for her love of making things up. Nobody really knows the truth about her past before the killing game since she spins so many elaborate stories that her contemporaries call her the "Queen of Liars." Competent in the gaming industry, she outlasted several rivals over the four years prior to Hope's Peak Academy identifying her as the "Ultimate Gambler."
Chihiro Fujisaki's Danganronpa
Chihiro Fujisaki is a technical whiz and the 78th class Ultimate Programmer at Hope's Peak Academy. In order to escape the demands of masculinity that society imposed on him, Chihiro, who had been bullied for being "so weak despite being a boy," acquired a weakness complex, started dressed like a lady, and started hiding behind a computer. Later on, Chihiro emerged as a teenage prodigy known for his innovative software creations.
Hifumi Yamada Danganronpa
The Ultimate Fanfic of Hope's Peak Academy Hifumi Yamada, the guy behind Class 78th, recalls a mild-mannered, friendless youngster in his youth who enjoyed drawing. He grew fixated with buying stuff, doing fan art, and writing fanfiction about Princess Piggles, an anime heroine that had shown to him in nightmares.
Kiyotaka Ishimaru's Danganronpa

Others have encouraged him to continue playing baseball since he was a little boy because of his innate skill. After falling in love with a lady he met at a salon, he chose to follow a more musical route and entirely changed his style in an effort to please her, longing to create his own, new identity.
Mondo Owada Danganronpa
Mondo Owada, a member of the 78th class of Hope's Peak Academy, has the title of Ultimate Biker Gang Leader. His brother encouraged him to assume the lead and go on growing The Crazy Diamonds' fame and reach when he had a deep love for riding when he was younger. The Crazy Diamonds subsequently became recognized as the biggest and most formidable motorcycle gang in Japan. After his brother's death, Hope's Peak Academy noticed him despite his proclivity for fighting and misbehavior. He accepted the post with the plan to pursue other goals.
Danganronpa Ikusaba Mukuro
Warning: contains spoilers. Junko's elder fraternal twin sister, Mukuro Ikusaba, is the Ultimate Soldier of Class 78th at Hope's Peak Academy. Since they were young, Junko has used manipulation to get Mukuro to assist her in "painting the world in despair," which is why Junko has dubbed the two of them "the Despair Sisters."After going missing as a young boy while on vacation in Europe, Mukoro joined the Fenrir Mercenary gang in the Middle East. She fought in close quarters with the mercenary force, although she never once sustained an injury in battle.
Sakura Ogami Danganronpa
Sakura Ogami is a skilled fighter and the Ultimate Martial Artist of Hope's Peak Academy's Class 78th. Her family had an antiquated lifestyle and preserved their dojo for more than three centuries. Sakura put in a great deal of effort in her early training to become stronger than the men in her family to demonstrate her value. At the tender age of 14, she surpassed her father in strength. She is a driven young lady who has had a solitary existence due to her imposing looks and commitment to training. She want to become the strongest person alive at some point.
Sayaka Maizono Danganronpa
Sayaka Maizono is the 78th class of Hope's Peak Academy's Ultimate Pop Sensation. Sayaka, who was raised by her widowed father and spent much of her time alone while he was at work, took solace and strength from the celebrities she saw on television. She then resolved to become an idol in order to provide others with the same encouragement; but, in the process of pursuing her goal, she often made poor choices and gave up important things.
Toko Fukara Danganronpa
Toko Fukara, the 78th grade Ultimate Writing Prodigy of Hope's Peak Academy, is a bright but melancholy misfit. She was severely bullied as a youngster, which made her wary of others and often worried that they were talking behind her back. She has no filter, which often comes off as harsh due to her raw honesty. She also exhibits extreme self-consciousness, showing a propensity to reject praises and self-victimize. She had severe maltreatment as a child, which caused her to acquire DID (dissociative identity disorder) and an incapacitating dread of the dark.After reading a love letter she had written for an unfulfilled infatuation in the eighth grade, a teacher saw she had a gift for writing and encouraged her to start a book series. Yasuhiro Hagakure's Danganronpa
Yasuhiro Hagakure, better known by his nickname Hiro, attends Hope's Peak Academy in Class 78th. Still, he's among his class's happiest and most relaxed pupils.Yasuhiro has trouble controlling his finances and with women.
