The Pokémon Go game's most psychic Pokémon
Among them, Psychic Pokémon are perhaps my favourites. I used to play a lot of Pokémon Stadium as a child, and my top three choices were usually Kadabra, Hypno, and Mr. Mime. I was a huge fan of that game, but until Pokémon Go launched in 2016, I had never played another Pokémon game.
And those three in particular are the psychic Pokémon that I remember the most. My passion was rekindled when I entered the world of Pokémon Go. I swear, since then, I've played a tonne of mainstream Pokémon games. So let's talk about the greatest of the finest, their various moves, and how to get you a strong psychic roster.
After you've had enough psychic Pokémon, our guides to Pokémon Go Eevee evolution, Pokémon Go raids, Pokémon Go community days, and Pokémon Go events will provide you with all the in-game assistance you need. Rain or shine, we'll have you playing. For a comprehensive look at all things'mon, see our Pokédex guide.
It's time to be excited now!
Pokémon that are psychic
Mewtwo
- Fast move: Confusion
- Charged move: Flamethrower
Without a doubt, Mewtwo is the greatest Pokémon. Take a look at their enormous thighs! It everything works out. Furthermore, they have the ability to develop into Mewtwo X or Y, or Shadow Mewtwo if you want the most DPS imaginable. With the abilities of Confusion and Flamethrower, they may completely overwhelm opponents—but at a higher cost to you in terms of damage.
Latios
- Fast move: Dragon breath
- Charged move: Dragon claw
Gen 3 saw the introduction of Latios, a large psychic Pokémon/dragon hybrid. They are plenty strong in their base form, but they have the potential to develop into Mega Latios, making them one of the strongest psychic Pokémon in the whole game. They also become purple, which is a much better shade than blue. In the business world, we refer to it as a win-win, bucko.
See our article on dragon Pokémon weakness for advice on how to be a dragon.
Slowbro
- Fast move: Confusion
- Charged move: Ice beam
Slowbro is a water/psychic hermit crab hybrid that exudes a very laid-back attitude and has an unexpectedly large move pool. Slowbro has always been my favourite moniker. It seems like he was named by a child (or a really immature adult). Additionally, they have the ability to develop into Mega Slowbro, who can destroy foes everywhere. Oh, and they leap into their little shell as if it were a suit of armour, which is actually very adorable, and isn't that what matters in the end?
You may get assistance from our water Pokémon weakness guide if Slowbro's water half is causing you problems.
Hoopa
- Fast move: Astonish
- Charged move: Dark pulse
Hoopa is a gen six introduction who like jewels. The term comes from the abundance of gold hoops they utilise, yet they seem more like bracelets to me than earrings. In any case, Unbound Hoopa is a terrifying-looking creature that presumably yells, "Be not afraid," over Hoopa's calm appearance. In any case, they're a powerful psychic Pokémon, particularly when they're free-form.
You may be interested in learning more about the dark Pokémon vulnerability, since Hoopa is a component of the dark-type..
Latias
- Fast move: zen headbutt
- Charged move: outrage
Latias, the female counterpart of Latios, is a mythical psychic dragon. Because Latios and Latias resemble aeroplanes, I've always felt they're a little strange. Nevertheless, Latios is so strong that we should all go beyond the issue with the aircraft. Transform Latias into Mega Latias, and voilà! You now own a formidable aircraft that has telekinetic abilities—a feature not seen on a Boeing 737.
Alakazam
- Fast move: confusion
- Charged move: dazzling gleam
All forms of Abra are awesome, but my favourite is Alakazam, the ultimate form that can do more than simply teleport. They were inspired by Uri Geller, who was the subject of this news story when he sued them and this absurd reaction when he removed the ban twenty years later. They bend spoons. Anyway, putting Uri aside, Alakazam is the ideal combination since it's a strong psychic Pokémon with a stylish appearance.
- Fast move: bullet punch
- Charged move: flash cannon
Metagross
Pokémon Metagross is so strong that it seems like they belong in the legends. This steel/psychic type is as terrifying as the large walking bell tower creatures in Elden Ring. Once you can transform them into their shadow form, you'll have one of the strongest psychic kinds in the game, but beware of their unexpected vulnerabilities and additional damage they receive.
Metagross has several defences since it is partially a steel-type Pokémon, but you can overcome them with the assistance of our steel Pokémon weakness guide.
- Fast move: confusion
- Charged move: psychic
Exeggutor
Exeggutor is a grass/psychic Pokémon palm tree with a face made of coconuts. It's amusing, and I don't think anybody could not like this goofy little Pokémon and the exposure it receives by having two types. Alolan Exeggutor adopts a similar approach, although he goes for a more realistic palm tree appearance with his very long neck. They do, however, have a shadow form, much like all these psychic Pokémon, although it's a little too simple to defeat.
Their ass is grass, and our grass Pokémon weakness article will help you mow it.
Gardevoir
- Fast move: confusion
- Charged move: dazzling gleam
The evident utility of Gardevoir in Pokémon Go is almost as great as their stunning grace. Originally a psychic-type when it was first introduced in Generation 3, they are now a psychic/fairy mix. They have strong resistances and can deal a lot of damage in certain match-ups. Obviously, they can attack considerably harder in their shadow form.
You may be interested in learning about Gardevoir's fairy Pokémon weakness, given that he has some fairy DNA. Additionally, you may find it helpful to read our Ralts evolution guide, which will help you get both Gallade and Gardevoir.
- Fast move: low kick
- Charged move: close combat
Gallade
You may choose between Gardevoir and Gallade as Ralts' ultimate form. You gut a supernatural boxer with strange, blade-like limbs if you choose for Gallade. This fighting/psychic combination, which debuted in Generation Four, can handle normal-type tanks because to its strong fighting-type move coverage and high DPS in one-on-one matches.
It also helps to comprehend the fighting Pokémon weakness in order to maximise Gallade.
That concludes our ranking of the top 10 psychic Pokémon. Do you concur? If you do, that's OK with me. I won't find out since we don't have any comments. Would you be able to contact me, please? Please refrain from. Browse our guide to additional mind-bending and spells (magic games).
