Every Yoshi game available on the Switch

Yoshi games are sort of rare and hard to find. The name of the green dinosaur has only appeared in around a dozen games. Nevertheless, Yoshi has been Mario's dependable partner since Super Mario World, which means he's always willing to help out. Whether it's as a fellow kart racer or a golfing partner for Mario's free time, Yoshi is unending.

Let's start by wishing my brother Yoshi some love. Long live that strange green man that lays eggs. Adore him. In any case, for even more entertainment value, see our lists of the top mobile party games and the top mobile car games on Switch and mobile. These days, there are almost too many games available to comprehend them all.

Let's now discuss every Yoshi game available for the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch games featuring Yoshi

Yoshi's Handmade Universe

Yoshi's Crafted World, the spiritual heir to Kirby's Epic Yarn, gives the Switch lovely cardboard and a play-set look. Although the game is rather simple to learn, its allure persists until the very end.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The first game I played on my Switch was Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (you can probably guess the other one). I've been a Ludwig fan ever since I could ride. I'm not sure why. I sort of detest that strange man. Still, he's there with a bunch of other strange tiny individuals. If you want to put him in a kart, Yoshi is one of them. He's quite adorable. For your curiousity, here is a list of all the sups.

Rabbits + Mario: Kingdom War

This breakthrough partnership between Ubisoft and Nintendo was unexpected. I think I yelled, "Mario has a gun," when I first saw it. Mario + Rabbids adds tactical wizardry to the Mario franchise while looking fantastic, kind of like XCOM but cuter and better. Yoshi is also there, being very cunning and killing Rabbids. Adorable!

Mario Tennis Aces

While Mario Tennis Aces didn't exactly win over critics, it did win over me. It was a very good sports game in my opinion, combining elements of fighting game techniques with traditional tennis action. Like many other sports games, Yoshi is one of the numerous playable characters in this game.

Super Rush: Mario Golf

Mario Golf: Super Rush, another excellent sports game, accomplished the same feat as Tennis Aces. It started with a strong sports base and layered on additional arcade-style features. For those of you Yoshi fans out there, he's here too, and it's a lot of fun. For further information, see our Mario Golf: Super Rush review.

Super Mario Party

Super Mario Party, the first of two Mario Party games, isn't very good. I've played a good deal of it, but I'm not that fond of it. But that's fantastic if you do! Enter a game and take on the role of Yoshi, weirdos.

Superstars of Mario Parties

This is a fantastic Mario Party game, the second of two! It contains traditional maps, a great, old formula, and is generally a better experience. Oh, and Yoshi is also in this game, in case you forgot what list you were reading. See what we think by reading our Mario Party Superstars review.

Smash Bros. Ultimate

You were aware of this one previously, surely? Nintendo used the catchphrase "Everyone is here!" while revealing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Can you image if Yoshi was the only one excluded from that? It would be quite funny. Well, he is there in this very remarkable fighting game. Our tier list for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tells you just how Yoshi fits within the group.
