A deconstruction of the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom trailer

New proficienciesOkay, let's start with the most apparent one: we now fully understand Link's newfound skills in Tears of the Kingdom. We don't sure whether there are any more waiting, but what we have seen so far includes recall, fuse, ultrahand, and ascend. You can learn more about each of them by watching the webcast, but our thoughts are already spinning with all of the combined weaponry that Link and his opponents may use.

The new appearance of Link

We now know that Link's damaged arm and toga appearance is an outfit you may don thanks to our first peek at real gameplay. Although Link may also be seen in earlier trailers wearing his Breath of the Wild blue champion's tunic, we believe this new appearance is how Link embarks on his trip.Link is shown reaching for a glowing green hand in the first teaser, which is akin to the energy Link's gnarled hand produces. Thus, we believe those incidents set the game in motion and gave Link his current appearance. Later on, we anticipate being able to locate and equip new attire, much as in Breath of the Wild.Zonai has confirmed.Have you heard that? It's the sound of several Zelda-tuber rejoices at the definitive confirmation of a long-standing hypothesis. This gameplay video demonstrates that there are Zonai foes, weapons, and perhaps magic in addition to confirming that they play a significant role in the narrative. The parallels between these new foes, the magic, and Link's new skills are too great to be coincidences, and this tribe may hold the secret to unlocking Link's new talents. In other words,We delve more into the enigmatic tribe in our Zelda Tears of the Kingdom . Described by Zonai guidance, but for the time being all you need to know is that they were magic barbarians, an ancient race that coexisted with the original Shiekah clan. It's not unreasonable to believe that the green hand keeping Ganon down is really Zonai magic, given that they were also involved in helping to shut Ganon away.

Are those caverns?

Tears of the Kingdom teasers have previously let us know that caves are showing up, but now we know where they are in the globe and how to find them on the map. It seems like the map records each cave entrance when Link travels through it—almost as if you are finishing the task inside each one—because caverns have both a symbol and a tick.

There are dragons here.

Since we're spending a lot more time in the sky in Tears of the Kingdom, we're probably going to be spending a lot more time with the dragons from Breath of the Wild when they return. On top of Mount Lanayru, we get a sight of Naydra, but we also get a good look at a dragon whose color pattern is a little off. It's obvious that we will discover a great deal more species amid the clouds as we continue to explore the heavens.

Coordinates with joy

Coordinates are a useful addition to Tears of the Kingdom's HUD, speaking of the sky. Now that we have a distinct indicator for latitude, longitude, and altitude, it is simpler to determine Link's precise elevation. When you uncover something interesting, this is great for sharing with friends and locating locations. To be honest, guides will also find it to be really helpful! However, we're curious about how high Link can really go.

Tower power

Although these towering buildings have previously seen in teasers, the most recent gameplay broadcast offers us a fantastic look at the new skyscrapers. We're not really sure how they work, but we've noticed that the minimap on the HUD sometimes shows a blank screen. Thus, towers probably function similarly to those in BotW, exposing the local geography. But the map also changes between the islands in the sky and the ground, so maybe there are two maps to find this time!

Connect the constructor

Link can now sew objects together to build a variety of objects, including weapons and vehicles, thanks to his new ultrahand skill. We've already seen regions with specific construction supplies strewn around, in addition to the homemade automobiles, balloons, and other forms of transportation that are currently apparent. Similar to the Terry Town quest, Zelda mentions reconstructing Hyrule at the conclusion of Breath of the Wild. Perhaps this time, Link is really assisting in the reconstruction of towns and villages for the Hyrulean people.

Hyrulean spirals

These ascending green energy spirals around what seems to be a cone constitute another novel structure in Hyrule. These have a marking on the map that resembles the shrine symbol from Breath of the Wild. Could these cones be our new shrines, inactive in the normal sense but showing green energy when finished and serving as a place of rapid travel? The Zonai were a race of warriors. It is not unreasonable to believe they may conduct trials like to those conducted by the Shiekah. We already know that they created the BotW labyrinths.

Sailing to the rail

Tears of the Kingdom's major attraction is the new sky islands, although getting between them might be challenging. We get to see what seems to be tracks linking these islands, so apparently Nintendo has thought of everything. In one image, a sizable sphere is seen adjacent to the carts and the rails. Could the orb be supplying electricity to the carts? It seems like a lot of fun to be able to tote about the sky islands hundreds of feet above Hyrule.

Are those batteries?

From the gameplay so far, we have seen that Link is able to construct and power a variety of technological devices. However, when Link turns on any of those devices, a battery symbol appears. In fact, the battery drains more quickly while utilizing several devices. We believe that the many green vials that Link is shown wearing on his hip in the Tears of the Kingdom key art might be battery chargers for the Zonai technology. Gradually increasing the vehicles' charge to provide automobiles and airplanes more lift to the sky seems like a nice idea.

Zonai golem

Since the guardians are Breath of the Wild's most recognizable adversary, Tears of the Kingdom probably features a comparable foe. Although the enormous cube-shaped Golem was seen in earlier video, we now believe that this is probably one of the Zonai creations that serve as our main new adversaries. We also get a brief glimpse of a Zonai golem that is powered down and using laser sight to examine the area—we're quite confident the behemoth emerges when disturbed.Malicious holes

Lastly, when skydiving in the latest teaser, we get a clear view of enormous holes in the earth encircled by evil energy. We already know that caverns are a new element in Tears of the Kingdom. We may never know what horrors Ganon will unleash upon his return, but they very well may be the reason we now have access to these previously inaccessible caverns. The thought of being able to explore Hyrule's underbelly and find out what has been waiting for years beneath our feet is thrilling. When the game comes out, there will be a ton lot see and do, so don't forget to pre-order it so you can get started as soon as possible:That concludes our analysis of the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom trailer for now.
