Silver Samurai from Marvel Snap slashes through the opponents

In the highly powerful digital card game Second Dinner, Marvel Snap's Silver Samurai is now playable. He brings some serious steel with him to take down Wolverine and the other heroes. Ideally suited for Marvel Snap decks that maximise discard effects, this villain is prepared to work with Moon Knight to completely remove your opponent's choices.

Silver Samurai is a four-cost, five-power card that debuted in Marvel Snap. Its effect is as follows: "On Reveal: Each player discards the lowest-power card from their hand." Because of its ability, the Samurai is a good choice to combine with cards like Swarm and Wolverine to add more soldiers to the battlefield. It is also quite effective when combined with Stature, requiring a discard to convert the five-cost hero into a one-cost choice for the subsequent round.

With an effect that is almost a perfect replica of Moon Knight, Silver Samurai fits easily into the discard gang of Marvel Snap deck archetypes. The swordsman does very well against decks that employ Arnim Zola because of its low-power discard effect, which removes the zero-power card from your opponent's hand. It also works well against Patriot and Bounce decks since it can quickly remove a handful of the key cards from those builds.

With the advent of Silver Samurai, the Big in Japan season has come to an end. Even so, there's a lot to look forward to, including the arrival of Loki in the game next week, which marks the start of the Loki for All Time season. Alioth, Ravonna Renslayer, and Mobius M. Mobius will all be joining the game in September.
