Updates to Clash Royale's card evolution offer the Barbarian a significant boost.

With the June 19 update, Supercell's card-based strategy game Clash Royale will undergo a significant transformation as some of our favourite characters will advance to new heights. The novel feature transforms well-known characters, such as Firecracker, Skeleton, and Barbarian, into enhanced versions of themselves, upending your preconceived notions about this selection from our list of the greatest free mobile games.

Although Supercell has been hinting at the card evolution mechanism for some time, the shake-up allows you to create new in-game combos to give your opponents a harder time. Additionally, additional evolved cards will be released every month, so you can anticipate often transforming your everyday heroes into more legendary forms.

There has never been a better moment to revisit the Clash Royale universe. In addition to shaping a new meta via the card evolution mechanism, the Slash Royale event is currently ongoing until June 19 and offers half-price gold upgrades. Not only has card evolution just been added to the game, but a few weeks ago, elite level cards were also added, giving you the opportunity to level up beyond 14.
