Zenless Zone Zero will soon be available on the Switch.

Fans of Hoyoverse should rejoice, as it seems that Zenless Zone Zero will be available on Switch. Earlier this week, the Hoyoverse urban fantasy role-playing game's creators brought us to a press preview, where the Q&A session disclosed that the game would be available on "all platforms."

The latest much-awaited mobile game from Hoyoverse, the developer of games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, is called Zenless Zone Zero. Zhenyu Li, the producer of ZZZ, said, "Of course, we are hoping to have our game on all platforms," when we questioned him about the game's potential release on the Nintendo Switch during a recent interview. We will have to wait a little bit before seeing New Eridu on our consoles, however, since the Zenless Zone Zero release date is scheduled for the beginning of July.

We've been speculating about a potential Switch port for a while now since the SmartRead team members were fortunate enough to get a shipment from Hoyoverse earlier this year full of ZZZ goodies, including a Nintendo Switch game case with a cassette theme. Additionally, Steam cards have been given out as major prizes in a few promotional events, indicating that Hoyoverse is aiming to optimize Zenless Zone Zero for portable consoles in addition to releasing via Steam.

More than three years have passed since Hoyoverse unveiled the official trailer for Genshin Impact's Switch version, and we haven't heard anything more about the console's release for either the 2023 release of Honkai Star Rail or the open-world role-playing game. But ZZZ's level-based gameplay seems to need far less processing power and server capacity, so it's possible that this game will launch before we find out more about getting to Teyvat. Perhaps that journey is being saved by Hoyoverse for the Nintendo Switch 2, who knows?
