Pokémon Go's greatest rock Pokémon

Rock Pokémon may provide some difficulties. They are tied with grass-types for the greatest vulnerabilities of any kind, and they often have two drawbacks. They're usually really sluggish, which exacerbates everything. However, they do have a few redeeming traits that make them a valuable Pokémon Go companion.

They often have very strong resistance and defense, to start. It helps that their offense is often excellent as well. In Pokémon Go, who is the greatest rock Pokémon? Here are our top 10 picks, which combine excellent DPS with overall likeability. I mean, Crustle is in here because I adore it. That's the way things are.

Get your rough mouthful of rock Pokémon as you continue reading. To ensure that your Pokémon Go team is capable of handling the challenges ahead, we have guidelines for psychic Pokémon, ice Pokémon, fairy Pokémon, and fire Pokémon as well. If you're tired of enslaving sentient animals, we also have a guide to collection games.

Okay, let's keep going.

Rock Pokémon

Crustle
  • Fast move: Smack down
  • Charge move: Rock blast

Okay, other from their strong defense, which makes them a decent tank, Crustle doesn't really have many positive qualities. Essentially, however, Crustle is just a crab on a large piece of ground. Exactly where the bottom of this sedimentary section is. Let me tell you, that's my jam. If you like the Poké-MOBA, check out our Pokémon Unite Crustle guide.

  • Fast move: Smack down
  • Charge move: Rock slide
Terrakion

Terrakion is a fighting/rock Pokémon that is generally strong and without any double weaknesses. It's not as good as the other fighting/rock-type Rampardos, but if you're looking for something that looks like a bull, you're in luck. Its DPS is lower.Make sure you read our guide on fighting Pokémon weakness before attempting a TKO on this fighting Pokémon.
  • Fast move: Smack down
  • Charge move: Rock wrecker

Rhyperior

Rhyperior is a great attacker because to its move rock wrecker. Rhyperior is a community day move with a high damage, making it a must for every rock Pokémon aficionado. If only they didn't seem that way.Since Rhyperior is a ground Pokémon in addition to being a rock0type, a good place to start looking for strategies to beat it is our ground Pokémon weakness guide.
  • Fast move: Smack down
  • Charge move: Rock slide

Rampardos

Having both rock slide and smack down, Rampardos has superior DPS over all opponents save Mega Aerodactyl. Their DPS is better than Rhyperior's, but their defense isn't as strong. However, the two are neck and neck at the top of the rock Pokémon charts.
  • Fast move: Rock throw
  • Charge move: Stone edge

Alolan Golem

Golem's gen seven variant is a rock/electric mix that works well with both electric and rock-type Pokémon. Its adaptability makes it particularly ideal for beginner players, and I adore that it has a huge Wario mustache. You may want to check out the startling information in our electric Pokémon weakness guide, as Alolan Golem is also a electric Pokémon.
  • Fast move: Smack down
  • Charge move: Stone edge

Tyranitar

Tyranitar is not just an odd green porcupine, but they are also a rock/dark combination that has strong defense and DPS. Although it doesn't rank first in either type, it does rank rather well in both, giving it another excellent choice for a versatile rock Pokémon.Keep in mind that Tyranitar is partially a dark Pokémon, so go over our article on dark Pokémon weakness for other strategies to take it out.
  • Fast move: Iron tail
  • Charge move: Heavy slam

Aggron

Aggron has a respectable DPS and a stone unicorn appearance, but they are mostly worthless in PvE. Their greatest advantage is their excellent defense. They are a steel/rock Pokémon pair that function well with the two steel techniques mentioned above. You may want to check out our guide on steel Pokémon weakness, as Aggron is also a steel Pokémon.
  • Fast move: Rock throw
  • Charge move: Stone edge

Regirock

Regirock is a brute with bludgeons instead of hands. There's a 'H' on their face. It looks bad, in my opinion. Despite all of this, it can have a rock Pokémon fast move and charge move, is very strong at defense, and has a decent DPS. Worth the sacrifice, without a doubt.
  • Fast move: Rock throw
  • Charge move: Rock slide

Omastar

One of my favorite Pokémon is Omastar. I don't know why, but I just remember the small guy so well. It has a shell and has a very blue color. It's adorable. It also makes excellent counters for Pokémon of the ice and fire types. Whatever, however, it's adorable.Remember, this gen 1 Pokémon is also a water Pokémon. To find out all of its flaws, make sure you read our water Pokémon weakness guide.Friend, that is the only rock Pokémon you will get today. See our article on rock Pokémon weakness to understand how to defeat this type in combat. See our Pokémon Go raids, Pokémon Go events, and Pokémon Go Eevee evolution guides for further information.
