Skyrim map from Map Genie
The
Map Genie Skyrim map is my personal favorite. Because of its superior overall use compared to most others, its ability to delete detected things and create custom locations has kept me using it for years. This map is straightforward and easy to use; it's the iPhone of Skyrim maps, without becoming too technical as other maps do. It won't simulate a 3DS, but it will allow you to call people fast, if you get what I mean.
Map of the game Banshee Skyrim
The Skryim map by Game Banshee is exquisitely minimalistic. The region is covered by a single, enormous, high-resolution photograph. Although it isn't interactive, its straightforward design and easy reading make it a fantastic illustration of what the Skyrim in-game map should have been. Assume that throughout the game, going to the map would provide you with this level of instantaneous location awareness. Visit the Elder Scrolls wiki to get connections to the many places scattered over the map if you're looking for more in-depth annotations.
