Visit horny prison! Your personal pornography is not Zenless Zone Zero.

Even though Zenless Zone Zero isn't even close to release, some enthusiasts are already discarding their toys over insignificant issues. Changes in design caused by possible state censorship are the matter at hand.

Mandatory rules and regulations of the Chinese Communist Party govern the People's Republic of China, the location of Hoyoverse's studio. Because of its extreme strictness, the state sometimes suppresses intellectual property created in China. Well, I completely agree that a video game's global distribution shouldn't be impacted by general censorship, but the distinctions in this case aren't that great.

Hoyoverse has experienced censorship before. Some of the early characters, such as Genshin Impact’s Jean, Genshin Impact’s Mona, and even Genshin Impact’s Amber, have undergone alterations that somewhat (but not much) conceal them. These changes were made available to us in the West as optional skins. Ruan Mei by Honkai Star Rail, released more recently, could also undergo some modifications after publication.

However, what's the situation with Zenless Zone Zero? Is there less violence now? Is it still legal to carry guns? Both no and yes. The true problem lies—drum roll, please—in the length of some of the garments on the three female characters. They also need to bounce a bit less. The fans are furious. It is important to note that the most of these disputes take place on Reddit and X, which, let's face it, isn't the epitome of civilized people.

Though let's be honest, it would be amazing if people were solely concerned about how censorship is affecting a global release. Is it not the reason why people are crazy?

So what precisely is it that enrages people? Nicole, a female character from Zenless Zone Zero who has a remarkable breast talent, has donned a bra. Horror and shock! It's an image, really, but you can't really tell the difference.

Her white blouse has a little exposed area of black bra, her shorts have been adjusted to eliminate the unsightly pocket squares, and - get ready for this - her jiggle physics are toned down. They were absurd before, really. She also changed her menu stances, although if you've played the beta, the new ones make more sense than her sultry camera poses.

However, that's not all, nope, Nekomata, a VERY YOUNG character from Zenless Zone Zero, has a little area of flesh covered between her very short shorts and thigh holsters. As someone who has worn shorts and thigh accessories, I believe that this modification makes sense from a design standpoint since the lengthier (I use that word very loosely) shorts will lessen pinching in everyday situations. It only covers about an inch of skin in the game. Please take a minute to concentrate on anything else if you are really becoming furious about this. You guys are kind bit strange.

Soldier 11 has also changed her outfit; instead of wearing thigh highs, she is wearing full tights underneath what seems to be a dress, but it could alternatively be argued that it is a coat. Once again, why is this a problem, and why is it that certain fans feel that they must see a few skin pixels? You know, there are websites you can visit for that kind of stuff. No matter how uncensored Zenless Zone Zero is, Soldier 11 won't flash you.

That's really the main problem, isn't it? For some reason, people are expecting a cyberpunk hack and slash game with combat, hip music, and cities to explore to be exciting. Moreover, this game is classified 16+. 16 is still a fairly young age. Tears of Themis is the only Hoyoverse game that allows you to romance people, however. Genshin? RPG with an open universe. Rail Honkai Star? A cosmic adventure with turns. Zen-less? A city exploration with no possibility for marriage.

"Oh no, my character just has [bleep] huge tits rather than absolutely [bleep] gigantic comedy water balloon tits, my immersion is ruined," said sarcastically Reddit user Piggstein in response to a topic. That is the general tone of all the complaints.

Good news for those of you who can't stop your breasts from jiggling whenever they appear on screen: you may admire the insane jiggle physics of Zenless Zone Zero's Grace and Zenless Zone Zero's Rina. The gorgeous women in Hoyoverse's games have some amazing curves, but let's face it: Nicole and Grace have much bigger designs than the majority of other characters in the series.

In another sequence, Grace's bare feet are seen up close, and you can only image the looks on people's faces. Do yourself a favor and avoid the OkBuddyZenlessZero sub, please.

Everything about this seems so bad. I find it disgusting how the community has responded to this "major redesign," to borrow one of the phrases that the younger generation uses these days. It reminds me of the days when comic-book artists would create wildly improbable poses for women, putting their chests almost out of focus, all in an attempt to attract the attention of males. I wonder how other gamers see real-life women too, as a female player of these games.

By the way, some of the more violent comic-book scenes—like this one of a person's jaw blowing up—have been toned down a little. Even without any blood, something was different. Not that it matters, since the photo doesn't include any tits.

I'm simply curious as to why the community finds the breasts of an animated character to be so important. The goddamn energy system is the true problem that the community should unite to solve. Hoyoverse, why do all of the game's missions and primary objectives need energy to complete?

Regardless of the skin percentage on display, we're still having fun with the game. For more details, see our Zenless Zone Zero tier list and Zenless Zone Zero banner guides.
