Skyward Sword amiibo: each one's functions and features

One of the greatest Zelda games is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. This venerable series has a ton of titles, the most of them are of very good quality. However, Skyward Sword took some time to become well-known. Many reviewers weren't sure what to think of it when it first came out, and it garnered a mixed bag of reviews, including the notorious 10/10 from Edge Magazine.

Fortunately, many of you have had the chance to feel its enchantment and realize just how amazing it really is thanks to its rerelease on the Nintendo Switch (you can read our opinions in our The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD review). Additionally, a contentious in-game mechanism was added with the introduction of the Skyward Sword amiibo, which features Zelda and Loftwing gazing at each other like old friends.

Are you curious about which amiibo are compatible with Skyward Sword and how to utilize them? Continue reading after that. You may stay updated with our Skyward Sword characters guide as well. After that, if you're yearning for some more Zelda magic, have a look at our tutorials for BotW Link and BotW Zelda. To help you at least know where you're headed in the newest Zelda classic, we've also included a breakdown of the Zelda BotW map.

An amiibo of Skyward Sword

You can only utilize a single amiibo in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Naturally, it's the Zelda & Loftwing amiibo, but sadly, it's really difficult to locate in stock right now.

With the Zelda & Loftwing amiibo, you can always go back up into the sky, which makes exploring the environment a lot simpler. This will enable you to locate secrets or finish tasks much faster than in the original Skyward Sword.

How are the amiibo for Skyward Sword used?

In Skyward Sword, just press and hold the D-pad to activate Fi, then choose the amiibo use option. Make sure the amiibo setting is set to "use amiibo" in the options if you don't see this option; if not, it won't appear.

That concludes our knowledge about Skyward Sword's amiibo compatibility. Hopefully, additional amiibo capabilities will be included in the next Zelda game, which is the follow-up to Breath of the Wild.
