Is the devil dressed in Prada? Get 30% off Shin Megami Tensei V to find out.
Once again, it's that time of the week when we sift through the deals to uncover something valuable to add to your Switch collection. If we do say so ourselves, we've done rather well this time around. You can already purchase the digital edition of the Switch-only game Shin Megami Tensei V on Amazon US for $41.99. Given that Nintendo just launched the game two months ago, it represents a significant 30% savings, and we believe this is a great deal.
It's likely that you've heard of the SMT series, if only because of its well-known difficulty. Really, these games give the impression that playing through the Dark Souls series is as soothing as stargazing in No Man's Sky or taking care of your farm in Stardew Valley.
In any case, for those who are not acquainted with Shin Megami Tensei V's plot, you play as a half-demon, half-teenager. Could a character be much more antsier? We doubt it—a sullen teenager combined with a demigod from hell? I wish anyone who obstruct her path luck.
All kidding aside, SMTV is a somber narrative that requires you to make some terrible decisions in addition to figuring out where you fit in this post-apocalyptic world. However, it is only required if you are determined to hang onto the light. Morality usually doesn't matter too much if you decide to embrace the darkness.
Naturally, the game includes the beloved turn-based combat from the series, and as you explore the post-apocalyptic Tokyo's wastelands, there are plenty of chances for you to join in on the action.
