Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will come later this year.

There is a lot of excitement about Samsung's next foldable smartphones, which should be unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked event next month. However, there may be further foldable gadgets in the works as well. Though some have referred to it as the Z Fold 6 Ultra, we have previously heard Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim rumors; nevertheless, the most recent evidence indicates that it will debut as the Samsung W25 later this year.

The information was provided by Ice Universe on X, a tipster who has a strong history of providing precise leaks on Samsung phones. The new model is expected to launch in October, but for now, it will only be offered in China and South Korea.

The source claims that the Samsung W25 will have a titanium frame in addition to being lighter, thinner, and bigger than the standard Z Fold 6. But it seems that being thin has a price, since the W25 isn't compatible with Samsung's S Pen pen.

While the W25 is said to use an Exynos CPU, the Z Fold 6 is anticipated to operate on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is crucial to distinguish this gadget from the Z Fold 6 FE, another purported Samsung foldable that, according to speculations, also makes use of an Exynos processor.

There is a lot of confusion over this cheaper model that has been speculated; some claim it has been scrapped, while others believe it will arrive alongside the S25 series next year. Although it seems that nobody is certain, the more expensive W25 model is beginning to seem more plausible. All we want is for it to be released worldwide so we can purchase it without having to pay import duties.

The remaining details of the Z Fold 6 Slim are still unknown. While many are looking for more substantial camera improvements, it doesn't seem possible that Samsung will provide such features on a product not intended for international distribution. Regardless, we will continue to search for further W25 news. In the meanwhile, see our guides to the best foldable phones and best flip phones to see how the competition stacks up.
