Characters from Fire Emblem Three Houses that are playable
- Byleth
Throughout Fire Emblem Three Houses, Byleth, the player character, has the option to be either male or female. They accompany Jeralt on his mercenary travels; they are his offspring. Following the introduction, they become professors at Garreg Mach Monastery, guiding one of the three houses through the impending difficulties.
Copper Eagles
- Edelgard
Edlegard, the Black Eagles' leader, is a determined student. She plays a crucial role in the Three Houses story. At the start of the game, her age is 17.
- Hubert
Hubert resembles Edelgard's right-hand guy in several ways. At the start of the game, his age is twenty.
- Ferdinand
Ferdinand is a self-assured nobleman who serves in the Black Eagles' cavalry division. In addition, he is 17 years old at the start of the game and sometimes displays a little of arrogance.
- Linhardt
Though a bit of a slacker at times, Linhardt is a healer. For the most of his life, he and Caspar have been close friends. At the start of the game, his age is sixteen.
- Caspar
Caspar is a close buddy of Linhardt's who is rather straight front. He is either wearing gauntlets or wielding an axe. At the start of the game, his age is sixteen.
- Bernadetta
Being a very meek aristocrat, Bernadetta spends much of her time in her chamber. At the start of the game, her age is 17.
- Dorothea
In essence, Dorothea is a theater buff. It's fascinating that she used to perform opera and exudes a certain arrogance considering that she is the only member of the Black Eagles who is not descended from nobles. At the start of the game, she is eighteen.
- Petra
Having been born in Brigid, Petra finds it difficult to communicate in Fódlan. She is very swift and proficient with both a sword and a bow. At the start of the game, her age is fifteen.
Blue Lions
- Dimitri
Dimitri, a refined 17-year-old nobleman, handles lances with style. He is the Blue Lions' leader.
- Dedue
Deduce, who hails from the Duscur area, is always on Dimitri's side and serves as something of a tank in combat. At the start of the game, his age is eighteen.
- Felix
Felix, a 17-year-old maestro of offense, and Dedue had a tense relationship after Felix's sibling died in the tragedy of Duscur.
- Ashe
Ashe is a cheerful and upbeat member of the Blue Lions who wields a bow. At the start of the game, his age is sixteen.
- Sylvain
The 19-year-old Sylvain is always talking about the attractive ladies he is surrounded by out of fascination. As a cavalry class, he excels.
- Mercedes
Mercedes, a different aristocratic kid, is very devout and has a strong aptitude for magic. At the start of the game, her age is 22.
- Annette
Annette is a motivated and diligent worker who strives to win over her fellow classmates. At the start of the game, her age is sixteen.
- Ingrid
The 17-year-old Ingrid approaches everything with a cool head and dreams of becoming a knight.
Golden Deer
- Claude
Being the head of the Golden Deer house, Claude strikes me as a cunning and kind person. He is the Riegan family's heir and uses a bow. At the start of the game, his age is 17.
- Lorenz
Lorenz, who is eighteen, is poised and reserved, obviously proud of his aristocratic heritage. He does well in a variety of courses.
- Raphael
Raphael seems to be a charming giant, with his too tight shirt seemingly about to burst. At the start of the game, his age is 17.
- Ignatz
Ignatz is a calm, scholarly figure who resembles Bernadetta, except the reclusiveness. At the start of the game, he is 17 years old.
- Lysithea
Lysithea, the 15-year-old youngest pupil, is very gifted and diligent. She is a highly strong magician, but she is not perfect in other aspects.
- Marianne
Marianne is a 17-year-old who is modest and kind. Although she is a healer, she is also more aggressive than the others.
- Hilda
Hilda, who is eighteen, is a vibrant student who is prepared for a fight—but not out of foolish boldness. She has an axe in her hand.
- Leonie
Another very dedicated student, Leonie trains diligently each day with the goal of becoming a mercenary. At the beginning of the game, her age is 19.
Seiros Church
- Seteth
Rhea's right-hand man, Seteth, is devoted to both her and his responsibilities. He is especially wary of Byleth.
- Flayn
Flayn is Seteth's younger sister, and he often provides for her. She is a passable healer.
- Hanneman
Hanneman, an academy teacher, is particularly interested in crests.
- Manuela
At the academy, Manuela is a flirty and outgoing teacher. She doesn't reveal her age.
- Gilbert
As a Knight of Seiros, Gilbert is qualified to teach lance and axe skills.
- Alois
Alois, another Knight of Seiros, is a skilled axe and fighting instructor.
- Catherine
27-year-old Knight of Seiros Catherine provides swords and fighting instruction.
- Shamir
Shamir is a former mercenary who now serves as a knight at the school. He has a bow.
- Cyril
Rhea is the orphanage caregiver for Cyril.
- Jeritza (DLC)
Being a teacher, Jeritza may be a little prickly when it comes to Byleth.
- Anna (DLC)
Depending on when you encounter her, Anna, a recurrent character in the Fire Emblem series, assumes a different class.
- Aelfric (DLC)
The main character of the Cindered Shadows DLC, Aelfric, proposes the creation of the Ashen Wolves.
