Moonlight Peaks - TBC, 2024?An vampire-themed agricultural game? That's enough, I'm sold. However, Moonlight Peaks seems to be a wonderful place. The game, which will be released on Switch next year, is being developed by Little Chicken, and I've already spent way too much time playing the decorative demo on Steam.The Switch is known for its collection of farming and life simulation games, so this will fit right in with its tried-and-true formula in a new way. With the help of a living chest and a cat with three eyes, you work your dark land throughout the night. As you travel and meet the inhabitants, such as the mayor who is a werewolf and a gigantic toad who sells you seeds, you may enchant items to perform your job for you. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year DoorPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is the game that fans of Mario, like myself, have been clamoring Nintendo to release for the whole Switch lineup. Now, it's finally here, baby. The most highly regarded of Mario's role-playing games is the second part of the Paper Mario series, which we will get to revisit in 2024 and play as the mustachioed plumber goes on one of his most bizarre excursions.I've already invested more hours than I want to confess into this turn-based Mario adventure, even though we had a fantastic time with our Super Mario RPG review this year. New release: Little Kitty, Big City
Now, I may be a bit prejudiced on this one since the little cat in the huge city is quite similar to my own small cat, Xiao (you can find a picture of Xiao on our list of the top cat games, under the 'best games for cats' section, just for comparison). In any case, I was completely enthralled by Little Kitty, Big City as soon as I saw the trailer. The title pretty well sums up the basic idea of the game: you play as a little cat that gets lost in a large metropolis and has to find your way home.Playing as an adorable black cat, you may explore a metropolitan skyline, put on hats, steal knickknacks from unsuspecting people, get into trouble, and leave a lot of disruption in your wake. Yes, Xiao is the main character in this game. I wonder how he managed to slip away to play a videogame star? Well, I'll never find out. The much-loved middle child of the eerie spin-off series from Nintendo and Next Level Games is Luigi's Mansion 2, and we can't wait to take up the Poltergust 5,000 and start ghost-busting in this remake. In this game, which was formerly known as Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon in certain places, you join forces with Professor E. Gadd to face King Boo once again. However, this time, there are five mansions to destroy of ghosts instead of just one.Nevertheless, the improved HD graphics are what we're most excited to see, since the Switch can do far more than the old 3DS could. Without the additional screen from the original, it could take some getting used to, but Nintendo has expertise with this kind of thing, so we're sure a visual upgrade will only enhance the eerie experience.October 25, 2024 – Sonic X Shadow Generations
Now that Sonic has returned, you may play both new and old Sonic titles in a single, lightning-fast collection. I feel like I completed Deltarune Chapter 2 a long time ago, and ever since then, I've been itching for more. As of right now, it seems like the release date for Deltarune Chapter 3, which is scheduled to coincide with the publication of Chapter 4, may not be too far off! For those unfamiliar with the series, Deltarune has you in charge of Ralsei, a prince from the Dark World, and Kris, a young human who is tasked with saving the planet with a monster by the name of Susie.Its captivating tale, amusing banter, and lovely, colorful pixel world make you forget you're not playing a AAA game with a huge crew behind it. In preparation for the upcoming new episodes later this year, I strongly advise you to check out the first two chapters for free.
Decapolice: 2024
, TBCSince I'm a huge fan of Master Detective Archives: Rain Code and it's even in my list of the best Switch games of the year, it seems sense that I'd be curious about the newest detective JRPG to hit the market. In Decapolice, you take on the role of a rookie detective searching for criminals in an open-world metropolis while alternating between the actual world and the virtual one.Originally scheduled to launch in 2023, Level-5 said at their Vision showcase that Decapolice will now launch in 2024. Genshin Impact – Unknown, 2024?
I promise that the Genshin Impact Switch trailer is real and not merely the product of everyone's fever dream. I'm hoping that the blockbuster hit game Hoyoverse will be released on the Nintendo system this year as well. Thank you. I want to explore Teyvat while curled up in bed, but my phone isn't powerful enough for large games.One of the greatest mobile and console games is Genshin Impact, and it has a well-deserved reputation. The plot is captivating, taking place in a magical world with a plethora of diverse biomes and civilizations to discover, and a lively cast of people that keeps expanding just waiting to meet you. This game is an amazing open-world adventure with some of the most intriguing action available, so don't let the gacha system turn you off. It also has a colorful tale that is sure to amuse.I want to finish playing this game on my portable device after dedicating about 700 hours to it on my PC and PlayStation because of how much stuff is available for free and there is really no need to invest any money at all. Hoyoverse, please.<
Layton, Professor, and the New Steam World – 2025
Though it has been a while since I last played a Professor Layton game, I still have a lot of great memories from the first two DS games in the series. I am also very excited for my girlfriend and I to play Professor Layton and the New World of Steam on the Nintendo Switch as we are both huge fans of the game.One year after Professor Layton and the Unwound (Lost) Future, our eponymous professor and his aide Luke are back in this latest installment of the ever-expanding Laytonverse. The setting of the game is Steam Bison, America, where "a new world has been ushered in by the power of highly advanced steam engines." I'm sure you can anticipate the series' trademark mind-bending riddles, vintage visuals, and engrossing storyline. This game is currently scheduled for release by Level 5 in 2025, however I'm hoping for a 2024 release since I'd be content with a demo!
