What lifestyle needs do Terran NPCs have?

You will need to construct more rooms the more Terraria NPCs you want to have in your town. An NPC won't move in even if you've met all of their requirements; creating the perfect room requires careful thought and consideration of a few factors.

  • Terraria NPCs are happiest when they have a living space consisting of 60 blocks or more, though anything too large is liable to upset them
  • Add an entrance to their room, such as an easily-accessible door
  • Build walls to turn it into a proper living space
  • Be sure to add at least one source of light
  • Terraria NPCs also appreciate a bit of furniture, including a chair and table

What is the Happiness chart from NPC?

Ensuring the happiness of every NPC requires a difficult balancing act, making it a challenging challenge to avoid paying outrageous rates. Friendly NPCs often like whole different biomes, and some of them are fond of their antagonistic neighbors. Additionally, pylons have the ability to irritate NPCs, which makes network setup challenging. The table below offers a near-optimal option for the most of your NPC requirements, which should enable you to optimize average happiness overall. Make sure there are no more than two other NPCs within 25 tiles of NPC A, and no more than three other NPCs between 25 and 120 tiles away. Additionally, take caution while placing your pylons in close proximity to these modest dwellings.
