How were you unable to? If you were raised without a Pokémon trade partner, like I was, you undoubtedly fantasised of possessing this gen 2 Pokémon. Politoed is a mainstay of the professional double VGC format in addition to being a famous design. It offers tanky assistance for rain teams and uses the Drizzle ability to build up the necessary precipitation. Politoed's green and yellow pattern transforms into a kaleidoscopic piece with a pink and blue colour scheme, making it one of the most brilliant dazzling designs available.
Bulbasaur / Ivysaur / VenusaurUnbelievably, Venusaur, Ivysaur, and Bulbasaur are all frog-type Pokémon. It may not be immediately apparent, but with closer inspection, this evolutionary trio's significance becomes more clear. Take it from the best—Pokémon creators Astuko Nishida and Ken Sugimori—and don't just take my word for it. Alternately, open Pokémon Let's Go Eevee or Let's Go Pikachu and see any one of these three jumping about behind you similar to a toad jumping from lilypad to lilypad.Compared to the other Pokémon on this list, this trio stands out since they are the only frogs with a
fire Pokémon weakness. Additionally, Venusaur is the only frog Pokémon that has both a Mega and a
Gigantamax Pokémon form. When new mechanics are introduced, Game Freak often looks back to the original three of beginning Pokémon. We anticipate seeing Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur as regular fixtures for as long as the Pokémon series continues to run, and guess what? We're not upset about it at all.
Frogadier / Greninja / Froakie

It also has one of the most unusual Pokémon designs that manages to look good: it wears its tongue like a sleeve.But we must not forget Froakie. It's adorable and blue, and that's plenty in my opinion. We've yet to encounter a water-type starter quite as endearing, given that three more have been released since Froakie and the other
gen 6 Pokémon came. Although Frogadier is only an issue from stage 16 to level 36, it is a little more forgettable than both its basic form and ultimate development.
Toxicroak / Croagunk
It seems sense that the Pokémon series would have a deadly toad given the abundance of venomous amphibians in the wild. Due to dual poison/fighting type, this evolutionary line can strike with both its fists and its toxic spit. If you are unprepared for a trainer fight, Toxicroak is not the kind of Pokémon you want to encounter. He may easily decimate teams or make you go back to the Pokémon Centre by poisoning a member of your party.Fans of the anime series may recognise Croagunk as one of the
poison Pokémon, similar to Ash's Greninja. Normally one for gathering rock-type Pokémon, Brock ultimately developed a relationship with Croagunk that rivalled that of Ash and Pikachu when he captured one on his travels across Sinnoh. Although Brock never evolves his favourite
gen 4 Pokémon into Toxicroak, his companion Pokémon is still capable of engaging in combat; in fact, Brock eventually comes to prefer using his Croagunk above other mons like Steelix and Ludicolo.
Bellibolt / Tadbulb
The newest frog-Pokémon to join the Pokémon universe are Tadbulb and Bellibolt, who first appeared in the Generation Nine games. Though they could live by the water, this duo is essentially an electric-type attacker; they lack dual typing. Greninja wouldn't want to cross paths with Bellibolt during a battle of the frogs.The evolved version of Tadbulb, Bellibolt, is a fun addition to the froggy family but has a significant
ground Pokémon weakness. Although Bellibolt isn't the most formidable fighter among the
gen 9 Pokémon, it can still deliver some surprising blows in a gym battle against Iona, and it makes a valuable ally if you want to zap any
bird Pokémon out of the sky. Aside from that, Bellibolt seems like a pretty lovable Pokémon, so we wouldn't be shocked to see it evolve into Squishmallow soon.
Palpitoad, Tympole, and Seismitoad
The Pokémon world's swamp frog, Seismitoad, has a potent moveset that includes strong techniques like Surf, Earthquake, and Hydro Pump due to its dual water/ground type. There are advantages and disadvantages to choosing Seismitoad for your party in terms of weaknesses. The main advantage is that this toad is resistant to electric attacks, which sets it apart from most other water Pokémon. But against this large, elderly toad, techniques like Vine Whip and Razor Leaf are four times more powerful since both the water and ground typings are vulnerable to grass assaults.Tympole is a quite adorable beginning point for this evolutionary line, with adorable small eyebrows that give it a little Mr Bean resemblance. That's about all there is to say about it. Like many intermediary evolutions, palpitoad is often disregarded, yet its silly grin alone makes it worthy your notice.
