Now that the Switch has a ton of Nintendo Switch Online Game Boy games to play, from the original grey brick to the Game Boy Advance, the most recent acquisition at least gives the system some portable history.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers may now play Game Boy Advance titles, while regular users of Nintendo Switch Online can now access games from the Game Boy and Game Boy Colour libraries. We want to catalog every game that is now accessible on the service, along with the ones that are in the (Mario) pipeline, so you can keep track of every game ever offered. Next, see our guide to the Nintendo Switch Online N64 games to stay up to date on the rest of the titles available on NSO.

Every Game Boy and Game Boy Advance Nintendo Switch Online game is available here:

Tetris

The first, the myth, the phenomena. Tetris is still a well-known game, and newer versions such as Tetris Effect and Tetris 99 demonstrate that this challenging classic gets the mechanics right the first time. Relive the game that began it all as you see clear lines of tetrominoes to the tune of that legendary music!

Six Golden Coins in Super Mario Land 2

Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins, the second Mario platformer for the Game Boy, is almost an entirely better game than its predecessor. Mario seems really like himself on a portable device for the first time thanks to improved graphics, appealing music, and much better controls. In this exciting game, which also marks Wario's debut, discover all about Mario's mission to defeat the villain who wants to take all the money.

Link's Awakening: The Legend of Zelda DX

Originally intended to be a Game Boy adaptation of A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is a delightful adventure with its own distinct personality and charm by Nintendo. Link embarks on a surreal journey in a world unrecognizable to him after washing up on a desolate island. This Game Boy classic is still a joy to play if you haven't played the Switch version. In addition, the DX version has new material and a vibrant color scheme that weren't in the Game Boy original edition.

Kirby's Fantasy World

The pink puffball's first journey is Kirby's Dream Land, despite the box picture leading you to believe he's gray! Kirby's Dream Land is a cute and comfortable game that is ideal for younger players but yet challenging in the latter stages. It's always interesting to discover where this series started since it also marks the introduction of a number of enduring opponents, environments, and musical selections.

Metroid II: Samus's Return

Metroid II: Return of Samus is an ambitious and sometimes imperfect videogame that takes the player to a new and dangerous planet full with deadly Metroids, continuing the tale of the NES original game. While fighting for his life, the bounty hunter needs to track them all down and hunt them all, but the planet SR388 has even more surprises in store. Although Metroid II: Samus Returns has been brilliantly remade on the 3DS, users of Switch systems may now relive Metroid history with the original game.

City of Mario 3

Wario Land 3 is a unique style of platformer that emphasizes strength and quirkiness. Since opponent attacks only cause the anti-hero to become stunned, Wario is immune to injury. Thus, Wario Land 3 is more akin to a puzzle platformer, with the player having to decide when and where to use Wario's many attacks in order to progress. The fact that this game is short and delicious is a plus since it packs a ton of enjoyment into a little box, making it ideal for repeated play.

The quest of Gargoyle

A spin-off of Ghosts 'n Goblins, Gargoyle's Quest is a Capcom game and somewhat of a cult favorite for the Game Boy. In this pleasantly difficult platformer, you get to accompany the mischievous demon Firebrand as he navigates the Ghoul Realm.

Watch and Play Gallery 3

Nintendo introduced the Game & Watch, their first portable gadget, long before the Game Boy. Bringing some of the most well-known releases from that series together in one box, this collection also includes some extra choices and some entertaining twists to make them come to life. It's amazing to look back at Nintendo history and realize how much fun even its oldest games are, even if they're primarily anomalies.

The New Nightmare: Alone in the Dark

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, an ambitious game for the portable device that packs a lot into a small cart, is a Game Boy Colour port of the same-named console game. Discover Shadow Island while searching for the artifacts at the center of this murder investigation and making an effort to survive. It has intricate character representations that further heighten the eerie atmosphere, even if more recent games seem a little nicer.

Kirby's Fantasy World 2

Kirby's Dream Land 2, a joyful and safe sequel, is just as cute as its predecessor. To defeat opponents, Kirby must employ copy talents. He must also use his special leaping abilities to navigate a variety of happy, colorful stages. It's more of the same, which is fantastic.

Deluxe Burger Time

BurgerTime Deluxe is a condensed version of the beloved game in which players must make sandwiches as fast as they can while dodging obstacles and adversaries. Though difficult to master, this title has more addictive potential than a Maccies cheeseburger. BurgerTime is a classic arcade game for a reason.

Tilt 'n' tumble from Kirby

Enemy Below: Blaster Master

The Blaster Master series, a 2D sidescrolling action game featuring tank-blasting action, is considered a cult classic. While maintaining the same speed and engaging action as its console predecessor, this Game Boy edition simplifies a lot of its features. We hope to see more odd selections like this one in the future since it's a great nod to the console's past!

Zelda's Legend: Ages and Seasons Oracle

Switch users can now play two beloved Game Boy Color titles that have the iconic Zelda magic and two distinct gameplay philosophies. Fans of Zelda adore them, and they're a great addition to the NSO collection.

The Trading Card Game of Pokémon

In the side-scrolling platformer game Castlevania Legends, you assume control of Sonia as she attacks Count Dracula's castle. In order to get more weapons and talents and become stronger over time, you must battle a variety of opponents. The Nintendo Switch Online Game Boy Advance titles are as follows:

The Minish Cap from Zelda's Legend

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is a little adventure with a huge heart. Link uses the cap of the same name to shrink down and collaborate with the tiny Minish people to rescue Princess Zelda. This Capcom-developed adventure still has a vibrant and colorful flair, and it looks amazing. We can only assume it will look amazing on the Nintendo Switch OLED Model screen.

Advance of Super Mario: Super Mario Bros. 3

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, which at first glance would seem to be a port of the original, builds upon the NES classic with hundreds of e-reader levels that have proven to be infamously difficult to locate over time. It's also past time to repair Super Mario Bros. 3 if you still need to play it.

Mega Microgames by Warioware, Inc.

Nintendo's most inventive and bizarre games are crammed into one little bundle, all of which may be operated with a single button. It makes perfect sense why there are so many amazing sequels to it!

Kuru Kuru KururinKuru Kuru Kururin is a fascinating puzzle game that adds a fresh twist to the NSO library. The helicopter is a spinning stick that players control. To avoid obstacles, players must time or adjust the helicopter's spin speed to fit through openings. It is undoubtedly a unique idea, and because of the excellent implementation, it seems as new as it has always done.

Super Circuit: Mario Kart

These days, it's a bit difficult to look at, particularly when Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is so gorgeous. Mario Kart: Super Circuit, however, remains a brilliant effort at a portable racing that showcases the Game Boy Advance's visual power. Being able to start playing matches online brings back happy memories of playing this with pals.

Superstar Saga: Mario & Luigi

Nintendo never follows the easy route. The titular siblings appear in the role-playing game Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. However, turn-based combat designates a different button for each brother and includes attacks that pay off for precisely when to hit a button. Thanks to fantastic character interactions, excellent dialogue, and the introduction of Fawful, the first game in the genre is very charming and energetic, and it's also one of the funniest Nintendo games.

Fusion of Metroid

The official Super Metroid successor, Metroid Fusion (sometimes known as Metroid IV), served as a prelude to the most current Metroid Dread game. In this 2D entry, Samus battles the gelatinous extraterrestrial danger known as the X parasite and the eerie SA-X bounty hunter doppelgänger that follows Samus on her quest. Fusion, one of the greatest Metroid and GBA games, is a crucial installment in the series and a pivotal part of the franchise's narrative.

Member of Fire
