Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a Pokémon spin-off unique to the Nintendo Switch, was published on January 28, 2022. A whole new Pokémon assortment, including the starters you may choose from at the start of the game, goes hand in hand with a brand-new game. This is all that is currently known, however there may be more announcements to come.

There are three Pokémon Legends: Arceus starters available, and these beloved characters are, surprisingly, from three distinct generations. To be more precise, they are the fire-type Cyndaquil, the water-type Oshawott, and the grass/flying-type Rowlet. We have included all the information you want on these starters below, including their evolution, stats, moveset, and more.

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the goal is to compile the first Pokédex for the historical area of Hisui, which is akin to old Sinnoh. In order to do this, the game centers on sending the Galaxy Expedition Team to pave the way for exploration by bringing in several generations to the area. Starters for Pokémon Legends: Arceus Rowlet

As the seventh generation from the choice of starters, Rowlet is a flying and grass Pokémon starter from Pokémon Sun & Moon.

At level 16, Rowlet transforms into Dartrix, and at level 36, it becomes Hisuian Decidueye.

Are there any plans for regional evolutions for the Pokémon Legends: Arceus Starters?

As with Alolan Exeggutor and Galarian Weezing, the Pokémon Company has stated that all three of Arceus's starters in Pokemon Legends will have new regional evolution forms. Nintendo has teased fans ahead of release with outlines of the new forms, albeit we still don't know precisely what they look like.

Though we wouldn't rule out the possibility that these are only regional variations based on the silhouettes, it's unclear whether these are new Pokémon. As soon as we get the game in our possession, we'll keep you informed about the new varieties.
