Playing games on smartphone and Switch

Running games, from Mario's side-scrolling escapades to Sonic racing across 3D environments, have always been highly anticipated. Although running may not always be the main objective of a game, it is pointless to race to rescue the princess if you cannot keep up with the speed. We thus have you covered if you sense the need for haste.

Portable Rayman Mini

Even if Rayman's next major console game may take a little longer to release, fans can still have a lot of fun with his mobile adventures. In the endless runner game Rayman Mini, Rayman is reduced to the size of an ant and must avoid a variety of enemies while navigating an environment full with giants, thorns, and plants. This game, which draws inspiration from Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, boasts an incredibly gorgeous graphic design and animation that might pass for a Rayman television series. This can satisfy your need for a fresh experience with the limbless marvel.

Mobile Sonic Dash

The blue blur himself, Sonic, is the only person we know who has a craving for speed. Sonic runs around circuits influenced by his past exploits in Sega's take on the endless runner, attempting to gather as many gold rings as he can along the way. Despite the character's past poor 3D experiences, Sonic Dash is an enjoyable little game that thankfully fits in a number of beloved characters, like Tails, Shadow, and more.

Super Mario Run for mobile

We know that running is one of the abilities of Nintendo's mustachioed mascot. You'll be doing just that in Super Mario Run, a mobile title that eliminates some of Mushroom Kingdom's more absurd barriers in favor of marathon mayhem. Mario is referred to as "jump man" instead of "run man," and you must touch the screen relentlessly in order to stylishly hop over adversaries. Super Meat Boy cover art

Switch, Super Meat Boy

Super flesh Boy is very agile for a chunk of flesh with just two little legs. The title character is really a very skilled all-around acrobat who can parkour across almost any terrain. The first Super flesh Boy is still as much fun as it was when it came out over ten years ago, and the titular youngster is still our favorite parkour-running hunk of flesh, even if the sequel doesn't quite live up to the expectations.

Play Temple Run: Classic on-the-go

Temple Run is the game that instantly transports me back to my school days, and Temple Run: Classic is everything you remember about the beloved franchise. If you haven't played Temple Run, you should know that it's an infinite runner where you have to pretend to be Indiana Jones while attempting to flee the jungle temple's perils. Runner 3: Switch

We like a game that lives up to its figurative promise, and Runner3 delivers well on that front. The wicked Timblebot is back in this game to create havoc, and the only thing CommanderVideo can do is run, leap, and run some more to prevent the end of the world. It's a running game that's not afraid to boost the pace sometimes and a new high for the series with the inclusion of branching pathways, better quality character models, and even some vehicles for when your feet grow weary. RUN: the World In-Between is a game that will literally have you running for your life, which is precisely what makes it to the top of our list. You must be alert to avoid all of the traps waiting to test your mettle in this game, which is akin to Super Meat Boy but with more catastrophic consequences. If you have the courage, it's certainly one for the pro-platformer.Mario and Sonic at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics cover
