Combat, plot, and other aspects of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Mio
Now that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is out, why not spend a few hours getting to know some of the characters you'll undoubtedly spend a hundred hours with? Mio, a soldier from Angus with cat ears who plays the flute to ward off ghosts, is one of the most significant characters; you can read more about her in our Xenoblade Chronicles 3 review.
Although she presents a nice image, she and the rest of the party are formidable opponents. Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 initially assumes the position of the defender, but she is able to switch roles by changing her class. Additionally, she is a fellow off-seer of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's Noah, which might lead to some intriguing things.
Beyond XC3's Mio, we have a ton of instructions on anything else Xeno. We're here to make sure you know what's going on, whether it's with our Xenoblade Chronicles’ Operation Rainfall feature, our Xenoblade Chronicles timeline explanation, or the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 characters so you know who you're adventuring with.
Let's go into the specifics now.
Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3Who is Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3?
Who is Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3?
Mio from XC3 is a fighter from Agnus, a colony that rivals Noah's Keves colony. In her first class, she carries two yellow-glow ring-shaped weapons. Sena and Taion, two of her friends, become mixed up with the other characters after an odd meeting.
Mio seems to have the most lines in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 narrative trailer that we saw at the beginning of the game's release. Even though I don't know anything about any of these characters, there was even one moment that brought tears to my eyes. She could be the game's emotional center, but maybe I'm just seeing too much of her.
Both she and Noah are not seafarers. They perform flute music to bid farewell to the deceased. It's unclear what this truly signifies, but the two will inevitably get close over something this macabre. After eighty hours, I wonder how their connection will appear.
Mio from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 fighting
In the direct, we also received a brief preview of XC3 Mio's fighting maneuvers. She begins as a zephyr and may do more damage than a typical auto-attack with her many abilities. The ones that we saw were as follows:
- Butterfly blade – high aggro
- Air fang – increase aggro
- Wide slash – evade
- Gemini strike – high aggro / evade
Additionally, there are master arts, which are attacks that are transferred from various classes. Assuming that Mio from XC3 has fulfilled all prerequisites, she is able to use any art from any of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 classes.Strong fusion arts may be produced by combining these master arts with conventional arts. She can alter her arts just as any other character may alter her class.
The appearance of each Ouroboros form when Mio, Sena, and Taion assume the lead in their respective pairings is seen below. Which one is your favorite? Xenoblade Chronicles #3 tweet.com/DIJn8hH2Rb— June 24, 2022, Nintendo UK (@NintendoUK)
Mio from XC3 may also team up with Noah to create the formidable Ouroboros form. Although Noah was the only one to take the lead in the direct, any character may do so. In the tweet above, you can see her figure as the leader, but regrettably, no fighting movements. For further information, see our Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Ouroboros guide.
