Artbok / Ekans
Ekans and Arbok are the original snake Pokémon, slithering and hissing. Although Arbok isn't the strongest Pokémon to use in your fight against the elite four and gym leaders, we have a special place in our hearts for one in particular: Jessie's Arbok. The two are inseparable during the first several series of the anime, and there's something about their bond that makes me feel a little sorry for Ekans. It really isn't able to get a break.We can't really add anything to what you already know about Ekans. Yes, it is based on the rattlesnake and goes by the name snake reverse. Aside from that, if you've faced Team Rocket as much as I have, you're probably tired of seeing the thing. Nonetheless, it must be on our list as it is the original snake Pokémon.
Steelix / Onix
As one of Brock's regular companions from the anime, Onix is a quintessential classic snake Pokémon, even casual viewers may recognize. It's a simple design, but sometimes straightforward works, as we've seen with some of the worst designs of the last several years.Naturally, discussing Onix would be incomplete without mentioning Steelix, the upgraded steel snake from the second generation. Yes, a lot of us lost out on obtaining Steelix during the GBA era since we had no one with whom to trade, but now days, it's not difficult to get this monolithic cave dweller. However, in the anime, Brock perseveres with his Onix, making it appear more difficult. He must still be without a metal coat.
Seviper
A snake Pokémon with a powerful bite, Seviper is Zangoose's worst adversary. Seviper is the snakiest snake in the Pokémon universe, in my humble opinion. Its striking pattern suggests that anybody facing the black adder would have a terrible time. Its move pool suggests that it may use its lethal constriction or terrible poison to defeat adversaries.
Sandaconda/Silicobra
Ground snakes are the hip new thing; forget about Onix. The slithering creature known as the sandaconda is the only snake Pokémon on this list to have a gigantamax form, which sees it grow enormous in size and transform into an upside-down pyramid of devastation. Though the Sandaconda may be easily defeated by a single water type in a matter of seconds, its striking appearance makes it an attractive addition to any collection.Like Ekans, silicobra is a snake that not much can be said about it other than that it exists. One of the numerous Pokémon that anime animators and video game developers can't seem to agree on is Ash's encounter with a version that is almost as tall as him, despite the in-game counterpart being smaller than a Pikachu. How are things going, Silicobra?
Dunsparce / DudunsparceI apologize for having to break the news to you, but Dunsparce is a snake-type Pokémon. This may be the most boring Pokémon ever. Even though this gen two normal-type snake is little and stubby, it is still a snake. Saying anything about Dunsparce? Not really, however. It's not very attractive and useless in combat. Nevertheless, this creature has an intriguing fact: it is one of the few to have escaped Ash. He still hasn't caught one as of yet.Much more engaging is Dudunsparce, where whole Pokémon streaming sessions consist on searches for the legendary three-segment form. You see, having a Dunsparce on your squad is something to brag about, since there's a one in a hundred chance that it may grow bigger than usual throughout its evolutionary process, leading to the three-segment Dudunsparce. Who would have imagined that Dunsparce could be hip?
Servine, Serperior, Snivy
It's a grass snake, not a snake in the grass. Serperior, the sole snake-themed Pokémon starting line (well, Snivy has legs, but the other two are still good), is a magnificent fully-formed snake that follows its trainer about with a long, leafy body. Its exceptional beauty more than makes up for its lack of competitive viability in comparison to some of the other grass starts. Just have a look at it. When it comes to the Pokémon world category stunners, it is right up there with Milotic.Well, we really adore Snivy. To see why, just have a look at our selections for the top starter Pokémon. Like any intermediate evolution, servine is also rather lovely, but we don't have much time to enjoy it before it blossoms into serperior.
