This spring, the board game Slay the Spire will premiere on Kickstarter.

The popular card-based roguelike Slay the Spire is being turned into a cooperative board game adventure. To beat the opposition and ascend to the top, you'll build your deck, come across lots of dangerous monsters, and use destructive relics.

Although there aren't many specifics yet, we do know that the next board game adaption will allow one to four players and need at least 45 minutes every round. More information about the game will undoubtedly surface in the next months as the Kickstarter campaign is scheduled to launch sometime in the spring. Here is Contention Games' official announcement, where you may also register to get updates in the meantime.

One of the best mobile card games is without a doubt Slay the Spire, and it's also probably one of the best iOS games. Though it had a few minor control hiccups, the much anticipated mobile adaptation felt almost just right for the platform when it launched last year.
