The latest Roblox Five Nights at Freddy's game is defeated by Scott Cawthon.
December 21, 2023: After hearing from Scott Cawthon, the creator of FNAF, we revised the original narrative.
Unlike FNAF Pizza Party, a new Roblox Five Nights at Freddy's game is fully official. You didn't anticipate that, did you? We most definitely didn't, but because we like Roblox and FNAF, we're glad to see it in light of the film's October release. That joy, however, may not last long since the game has already been removed and doesn't seem to be the greatest experience available, but FNAF developer Scott Cawthon has some thoughts on the matter.
We learned about the recently released game Five Nights at Freddy's: Survival Crew via KreekCraft on X (the old Twitter platform). Assuming you are acquainted with the FNAF games, you will probably be able to deduce the plot of the recently released Roblox horror game. As in previous entries in the series, you have to avoid the many animatronics who take their work a little too seriously.
Once again, you just so happen to be a part of the security, which is great since in these games, the security guard never gets hurt. If you want to survive, you have to be alert, believe in your gut, and take advantage of any opportunity. Fortunately, you're not fighting this battle alone since, just as in Dead by Daylight, a number of people step up to play security while another person takes on the role of a well-known animatronic.
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy are FNAF members. all have the same horrifying qualities as the playable animatronics in the main games and this Roblox experience. The game is still in beta, so there may be some performance difficulties that you experience as the developer, Metaverse Team Frights, works to fix them. That all sounds really good, don't they? So, what is the problem? Basically, after KreekCraft helped us find the game, JonnyBlox on X sent us to a Reddit topic. After playing the game for a while, we have to admit that it's not the smoothest out there, and a quick glance over the thread reveals that players aren't thrilled with the way it's currently going. We were unable to choose anything from the main menu, therefore we had to refresh the page many times.
To say that FNF developer Scott Cawthon is not happy with the game's current status would be an understatement if you check over the Reddit post containing his reaction. "This is a game in its infancy; temporary assets; temporary gameplay; unfinished everything," he declares. It just amazes me that it was abruptly released to the public today.
"Apparently there was a huge misunderstanding when I approved a skin, and it was interpreted as RELEASE THE GAME," Cawthon continues. Of course, I ended the game right away. Therefore, even if it might be challenging to ignore this... Well, no, I don't believe this should be disregarded. It was a grave error.
The next five lines from Cawthon should give followers hope: "I will fix in 2024." When the game is officially released, we can't wait to play it and we know that fans will like it.
