IFA 2023: Anker is prepared for Apple to move the iPhone to USB-C
Many of the top iPhone charging cords available today are made by Anker, the de facto charging king. However, Anker is now USB-C ready with a slew of new gadgets, almost confirming the long-rumored iPhone move away from Lightning. Although the iPhone 15 release date will reveal all, it seems that manufacturers have forewarned us.
There are two new power banks that are rather tiny and fashionable. They both have USB-C ports integrated into them, so you won't need to worry about forgetting a cable. When the 22.5W Anker Nano Power Bank is unfolded, it can just sit at the bottom of your phone and draw power from its 5,000mAh battery. It is about the size of a lipstick. In contrast, the 30W model has an attached connection for charging, twice the capacity, and a smart display.
We also got a peek at the brand-new Anker wall plug range, which is far more compact than Apple's usual plug selection but still rather powerful. Additionally, the business has released seven new MagSafe charging stations, all of which have 15W wireless charging and are among the first on the market to support Qi2.
All of this coincides with the release of a new set of over-ear headphones from Anker's Soundcore brand called the Space One, which retails for under $99.99 / £89.99 / €99.99 and delivers active noise cancellation on a budget. The headphones are seen below.
