What is Chapter 1 of Poppy Playtime?
Created and released by MOB Games, Poppy Playtime is a puzzle-based survival horror game. Assuming the character of a former worker at the defunct Playtime Co. toy firm, you return to the abandoned toy factory 10 years after some of the employees vanished. As you navigate the hallways in first-person, you must use the GrabPack device to solve a variety of puzzles while avoiding the eerie, possessed toys that want to play.In Poppy Playtime Chapter 1, formally titled A Tight Squeeze, you return to the factory and hesitantly take your first steps. It matches you up with the really hug-hungry Poppy Huggy Wuggy Playtime culminates in the revelation of Poppy Playtime's Poppy. her own self.
How can I play Chapter 1 of Poppy Playtime?

As previously stated, the first chapter of Poppy Playtime is titled A Tight Squeeze, and it assigns you the mission of exploring the abandoned toy factory while evading the lethal embrace of Huggy Wuggy, the terrible, long-armed, and long-legged human hugger. You must find solutions to a variety of riddles, gather a certain number of goods, and avoid being squeezed to death if you want to survive the night. Easy enough, huh?
Although Chapter 1 takes between one to three hours to finish, you can do it much faster with our guide; it only took us 45 minutes. Moreover, keep in mind that chapter 1 has five VHS cassettes to gather. Although completely optional, some do have significant plot points, therefore it's worth collecting them all. Don't worry if you pass away before collecting them all; they still count.
Just click "start" at the main menu and choose "new game" to start your terrifying new journey. It is explained to you that you are a former worker for Playtime Co. who has returned to the plant several years after everyone else left. The monster Huggy Wuggy, who follows you throughout the chapter, is then described to you.
Following the first video, you take command of your avatar. Take the green tape as you approach the front desk in front of you. To the right of the entrance, take the green tape to the VCR player. Watch the video after inserting the cassette.
To reach the gift store, turn right and go past the "eat healthy like Bron" poster. A brightly colored toy train is cruising down red tracks that are hanging from the ceiling of the gift store. The next puzzle's solution is in the colors of the rail cars.
Walk out of the gift store and approach the door (to the left of the starting location) that has the colorful keypad next to it. To match the train you saw at the gift store, all you have to do is press the corresponding color. In case you missed it, here is the combo:

- Pink
- Yellow
- Red
You may enter the security office by unlocking the door by hitting the colored squares in the correct sequence.
Take the blue tape off the desk by going inside the security office. Insert it into the closest VCR player and watch the movie, which gives you an overview of the GrabPack update you will shortly get. The blue hand is shown after the movie ends and the container in front of you opens. Engage with it to provide it resources.
Fantastic, you now have your blue hand! That's very helpful since you'll need it to access the lobby on your way back to the reception area. Give the blue hand sign above the next door a high five, then hop over the turnstile at the desk. This is where the spookiness begins, so enter at your own risk.
A massive rendition of Huggy Wuggy with its hand raised greets you as soon as you walk into the playtime lobby. The lobby has seven doors that go to various areas of the plant, but you must first have the yellow power room key in order to open them. First, give Huggy a high five. Nothing is accomplished by this, but we know you want to.
Press the blue hand symbol above the left door to get the key. Its lack of power prevents it from opening, but it does allow the yellow power room key to fall into Huggy Wuggy's uplifted palm. After grabbing it with your upper hand, turn to go through the "power" door, which is located to the left of the blue hand door.
There is a covered socket at the end of the room. To transmit electricity via your wiry arms, use your hand to open the cover and then insert it into the freshly exposed socket (do not do this in real life). After leaving your hand in the socket, go across the space and join the two conducting poles. By doing this, the electricity is turned on.
Return to the playtime lobby now that the electricity is back on. Oh no! Huggy has left! Well, not for long—this is only the start of something very frightening. Proceed to the left and enter via the blue hand door that you attempted to unlock prior to obtaining the keys. Proceed through the door on the left as you walk down the hallway to the next location, which is along a dimly lit corridor.
Go past the yellow VCR player in this new area and take the stairs up to the catwalk. Once you get to a control panel with a blue fuse next to it, continue walking down the catwalk. Reach down through the railing gap to the floor below, then grab the fuse and use the fuse box to slide it into position.
You have three more fuses to discover from here. Though they often appear on the floor or shelves, we think they spawn randomly. Their strong light makes them quite simple to see.
After you've located all three, open the door to the control panel and conveyor belt to the right, then go back up the stairs to the control panel and insert the fuses. The crane drops the red hand onto the conveyor belt below as a result of this. To equip it, jump down and engage with the red hand.
You can locate one in the manufacturing area if you're aiming to collect every VHS tape, although this is completely optional. You only need to go past the first shelf to get it. It's on the second leaning shelf from the entrance. To play it, return to the yellow VCR player you passed on the way in.
You have to get out of the manufacturing room now that you have the next VHS tape and a fresh hand. You have to leap onto the conveyor belt where you received the red hand, open the door at the end, stoop to pass through, and then slip to the area below since you cannot return the way you came.
You find yourself in a bit of a problem as you reach the bottom of the conveyor belt—you're stuck! You have to finish a circuit problem in order to continue.
To begin, go directly to the right of the conveyor belt that you just slid down. Proceed along the belt, through a bend, and up a stairway. A socket is located on the right side. Using one hand, strike it and hold onto it. There is a one-way ramp with a conduction pole across from this socket. Head back to the entryway and proceed in the direction of the door after sliding down and putting your arm around it. To finish the circuit, turn to the left and aim your extra hand at the socket there. Then settle relax and enjoy the journey on the doomsday conveyor belt.
You enter the "make a friend" area at the end of the conveyor belt, but before you can use the power again, you must solve another circuit problem. To reach the catwalk, go up the steps to the right of the entryway. To close the distance, you have to drag the catwalk toward you with one hand.
Proceed down the catwalk until you get to a socket if you want to collect all the cassettes. Look to the right to locate the pink tape on a blue square before interacting with it. To view it, shove it into the pink VHS player at the top of the steps.
Proceed to the center of the catwalk and turn to your right to locate a further section of it. Grab it in your direction to create a shortcut between the various poles. This is when things become tough.
Pull the catwalk piece over to build a bridge, then use one hand to grab the fuse at the top of the catwalk. Make a right turn, go toward the second fuse box, and then drag the catwalk to the other side with your free hand.
You should have just enough arm length remaining after turning around and wrapping your arm around the two poles to cross the newly constructed bridge and flip the switch on the other side. To see an illustration of this, go to the figure above.
Now that the power is back on, go downstairs and use the console button labeled "Make A Friend" in the middle of the space. (don't get caught out as so many of us do!). As the toy is being constructed, pull the three levers to the left of the console. To unlock the door marked "Nobody leaves without making a toy," pick up the finished product and set it on the scale next to it.
To start the Huggy Wuggy chase scene, enter the corridor and go through the door. Turn and sprint to the end of the conveyor belt where you received your Make a Friend toy as soon as you saw the monster, then go through the open door. From here, you have to dodge Huggy Wuggy as it follows you while sprinting through the vents. As soon as you see it, instantly spin around and go in the other direction, taking new pathways as they become available.
You find yourself on a dead-end catwalk as the hunt draws to a conclusion. There's a yellow container with prints of hands when you look up. To pull it down, grab hold of it with both hands. When Huggy Wuggy shows there, the box topples it, sending it flying into the air. Yay, the fears are gone!
Proceed to the door with the flower around it by following the catwalk from this point on. As you go further, the gray tape on the floor is visible. After grabbing it, turn right to reach the gray VCR player located at the end of the catwalk.
Simply go through the poppy door and walk the corridor until you locate a doll in a glass cabinet to complete Poppy Playtime Chapter 1. Poppy is this eerie woman, of course. To release Poppy from her confinement, use your hand to pry open the case.
