Marvel Snap's Blob makes the Hellfire Gala painful

Marvel Snap’s Blob, the first new highlight cache card of the Hellfire Gala season in Second Dinner’s superhero CCG, is almost here and prepared to destroy the existing meta. Although this opponent may not seem as menacing as Destroyer of Knull, its potent impact not only changes the game but also releases all of your deck's strength in one swift motion.

Arriving as a six-cost, four-power card in Marvel Snap, the Blobs effect says, "On Reveal: Merge your deck into this. (and gain its total power)" Continuous: Unmovable This new series five card offers you the choice of using 6,000 collector's tokens to get a copy of the X-Men villain or taking a risk by obtaining it via the spotlight cache system. This week's featured cache options include the mystery random series four or five card, Ravonna Renslayer, and The Living Tribunal in addition to Blob.

Blob has many alternatives when it comes to playing styles. Taking all the cards out of your deck on the last round and lowering Darkhawk's power to 0 is one of his strongest applications as a Darkhawk counter. Blob is ideally suited for a number of well-known Marvel Snap decks, like Shuri Red Skull builds, in which the villain could gain the benefits of Typhoid Mary and Red Skull without the drawbacks. Hela Discard decks are another possibility, in which Blob could gain the 20 power of The Infinaut if the space giant is still in your deck on turn six.

With Blob, there are a few plays to be cautious of. You may see your X-Men opponent Shang Chi'd into oblivion if you're going first on the turn you play Blob and your opponent suspects you could be bringing him out. In addition, Shadow King poses a danger, since the fellow villain will always turn things back to how they were. Nevertheless, Blob seems to be a true cube-collecting machine with a tonne of possible combinations and turn-six surprises under his sleeve if you play your cards well.
