Smartphones are one item that we have plenty of. I am aware that, given the opportunity, your thoughts will automatically turn to Apple and Samsung, the titans responsible for the Galaxy and iPhone lines of smartphones, respectively. However, since these businesses' phones may cost up to $1,200 or more, they really make a dint in your pocketbook. There are situations where this isn't a practical choice, even with a contract.
Let Xiaomi introduce its Redmi phone lineup. Fortunately, I was able to get a Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G. Having used the Poco X5 5G and Poco X5 5G Pro (Poco is a Xiaomi subsidiary), I am excited to share with you the amazing features of this smartphone, particularly in comparison to more costly gaming phones.
Design of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G
First, let's talk about how holding feels. Even though notes are often a little larger than other devices, this one still fits well in my hand, and its little weight ensures that you won't have hand tiredness during extended gaming sessions. The sleek black finish of the model I tried gives the gadget a comfortable and visually pleasant appearance. In case you desire a phone that is more colorful, it is also available in white and blue color schemes.
Features of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G
Let's look at the characteristics of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5 G because, of course, internal components are what really matter in a smartphone. Given that this gadget prioritizes its camera, battery, and display—all of which work together to make it the perfect device for individuals looking to take pictures or play games—Redmi obviously wants its users to enjoy a luxury experience on a budget.
In relation to that, the 6.67′′ 120Hz AMOLED display provides clear images that enhance the gaming experience on this device. Of course, I tested the phone with a variety of games. Xbox Game Pass includes several, but not all of them are mobile. I can attest that they all seemed amazing and operated flawlessly. This screen was made with gamers in mind. In case you're wondering what games I prefer to play on my phone, right now I'm into Marvel Snap, MLB The Show 23, and Marvel Contest of Champions. The latter is available via cloud gaming.
Battery for Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G
But, you may want to have your charger handy in case you want to play for extended periods of time. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has a respectable 5000mAh battery that can be turbocharged to 67W, but its maximum gaming time is four hours. Thus, if your battery is already at half full, your gaming time is limited to two hours. It's not quite a deal breaker, however, since the device's charge pace guarantees that you'll be ready to go in around 15 minutes.
Moreover, the 12-layer graphite sheet cooling system ensures that your smartphone won't overheat if you connect the charger to extend your gaming session. Sadly, overheating is a common issue with mobile gaming. However, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has an adequate cooling mechanism to prevent your games from crashing because of the digital version of heat fatigue.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G camera is a camera.Alright, so you know that it feels nice in the hand, has an excellent screen, and has a respectable battery. But what about the camera? When it comes to the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, how do those of you who like photography fare? I must admit, however, that this phone's camera setup is excellent for the price. With so many options available, you can quickly take excellent photos that you can look back on via your Facebook memories next year. Additionally, this phone has 256GB of RAM available for you, so you won't have to worry about running out of room. The phone has three different cameras: a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP tiny camera to complete the set. These three elements work together to provide you the ability to take high-quality pictures comparable to those you might get from a phone twice as expensive. In addition to a plethora of filters, the phone's light sensitivity function guarantees that your nighttime photos turn out flawless, a feature that is standard on most modern smartphones.
