WorriedWe like Ape's constant addition of Stardew Valley updates.
Farmers, rejoice! ConcernedApe, the game's designer, has released an incredibly enormous patch for the really fantastic agricultural game, Stardew Valley 1.6. This update adds even more to do.
Every patch requires a few updates to increase stability, but Stardew Valley's 1.6.4 update offers much more. In addition to fixing bugs and game crashes, it also packs in a surprisingly large number of new features.
While there aren't any new Stardew Valley characters in this update, there are twenty new mine-level layouts for both Ginger Island's volcanic mines and regular mines. That's forty more ways to blow yourself up with a bomb and go lost! In related news, your farm and slime hutch will no longer activate if you don a napalm ring.
These days, you may locate fish frenzies, add non-fish objects to fish tanks, and apply vinegar to trees to prevent them from sprouting moss. The item I'm most excited about is the buyable little shipping container from Qi's gem store on Ginger Island; however, it is marked as a "expensive" purchase, so good luck to me as I go through the difficulties to get enough gems.
You can see the whole list of additions and changes in this version, which includes a ton more, right here.
When will the Switch version of Stardew Valley 1.6 be released?
After a highly successful PC debut, Eric Barone, who initially revealed the 1.6 update in July 2023, now claims that it will soon be available on Switch and mobile devices. Despite the fact that the Switch and smartphone versions are scheduled for release "as soon as possible," Barone probably wants to wait to submit the update to Nintendo until it is flawless and functions flawlessly.
Even while we're all extremely excited to hear any information about the Haunted Chocolatier release date, we also have to admit that ConcernedApe deserves a long, well-deserved vacation. Therefore, to pass the time in the meantime, we suggest these fantastic indie games for Switch.
